2.0 Trailer #2

Well they listened to us and changed the voiceover .... it still feels a little ... idk dramatic. And a lot of the CGI scenes are the same. Compare to the first one Link. Which do you think is better?

I think the new voice is better, but still a little out of place. And the first trailer had a lot more drama and tension, maybe in the storyboarding of the scenes or the music.

I like this one the best imo, but alas no sign of the BRD :C

I liked the first trailer more, it was better paced.

I LOVE IT. much much better than the first teaser.

this is final fantasy feeling. not like the other :)

Definitely enjoyed this trailer better than the first one. Hopefully they come out with a gameplay trailer soon.

I prefer this one. Really more FF than the other.

I prefer #2's voiceover. Female voice seems most consistent with XIV, possibly because of the lyrics from "Answers".

I can't really explain why, but at the very end, when it zooms out to show an entire planet...that got me really excited. I like knowing there's more to this world than just one land mass.

Maybe FF14 will now be at a global scale with the game world.

Also the voice could very well be the goddess Nophica.

I loved the new music and want to hear more.

I love the fact that Yoshi doesn't take complete credit for the first Universally Appealing Trailer (I'll just call it the WoW trailer). From the letter:

I don't know who is in the background making the WoW-type decisions, but I'm glad it's not an overwhelming personaility. Final Fantasy attracts because it's different. That difference should be notable so people REMEMBER the game in the trailer.

I love it.

Tbh the only thing I don't really like about the first is the horrible voice acting.

Yeah i like this new one better, abit more dramatic & better FF feel to it.

like it should be.

It somewhat reminded me of "Dark Souls" intro cutscene.
wich is badass imo.

BRD, and all other jobs besides warrior and paladin, wasn't shown in the second trailer but it was in the first iirc ^^

The same trailer with a new voice over doesn't make it a "New" Trailer.

I enjoyed the first one more; it felt well-made even though people didn't like the english voice.

This one feels kind of..rushed.
The pacing feels off, the music is all over the place, the scenes don't seem to fit together and it's terribly confusing to have the english voice in ALL the different versions because the text you see and the words you hear are in different languages..x-X
And I want the great german narrator back, at least he didn't sound so overly dramatic...

I'm happy we got to see new scenes, the crystal, etc. Some of the music was cool as well :)
But I just don't think it all goes well together. I don't see how this is more FF-like than the first one which was actually showing some kind of story which is what every FF game ever made has been about.

My thoughts exactly! This new trailer actually gave me a fantastically tingly feeling that I would assume is excitement and joy mixed with two teaspoons of anticipation :D

Wow.. all I can say is that Girl's VA was astonishing, and the FF theme was Perfectly Executed! What got me the Most is when the World zoomed out! <3

I myself thougth its a normal house, but after closer look, the middle pair of legs is there, just behind the front leg
