First they changed how LB works in ultimate instead of improving the fight
Now they made GNB worse
why we are not allowed to have fun with your game design (that sucks)?
Worse, why SE is acting like blizzard, forcing their will against silly things that players do in order to have some fun?

Yoshida himself has said that the new projects and board work keep him too busy to pay much of any attention to XIV. He just gets wheeled out for PR reasons.

This game went from a scrappy underdog MMO that had some janky mechanics here and there, to a really well developed fun MMO that was following the feedback of their fanbase and on the road to becoming a really fun game, to a completely stale unfun corporate "triple AAA" snoozefest.
They've completely forgotten what it is to let the players have fun. Everything has to be fit in a bubble. They no longer add in cool new mechanics to jobs, they in fact take them away. Every job feels the same, either build up resource now use it on burst or use resource now use it on burst. They don't even add the fun final fantasy features that they were implementing before (summoner is such a joke with the ugliest summon I've ever seen added this expansion, and that includes anima one of my fave summons in the mix of "ugliest").
The game isn't fun and the developers forgot what fun was. They just want safe safe safe. I'm not even a player that likes games that take risk. Shoot, I've been a white knight for FFXIV since 1.x beta, and I can't defend this anymore. I think the devs need to get out of their bubble and go play some fun games. They need to remember that games are supposed to be, fun. -
