Delubrum Reginae should be retuned to a 4 man instance.

As the title says, finding a full alliance for DR has essentially become impossible on most datacenters, people have resorted to forming a single team of 8 and sitting in a 10+ minute queue until the game gives up looking for people and just throws the lone party in. There's no issue clearing this with 8 people, but I feel like reducing it to 4 would probably allow people to queue for this rather than be forced into using party finder groups.

Drops in PotD are abysmal, so if we want to clear the "A Path of Resistance" relic step, DR needs to be accessible.

I somewhat disagree.

Your idea is good, but I honestly think what they should do is just
redo the queue in time from 10 minutes to 1 minute.

Most people who want speed clears still do 5 man parties recruiting with PF, for the max Echo Effect, and queue in a different language.

But I do agree, somewhat there should be an option for Solo Play.
But thats where PotD is suppose to come in, perhaps changing the rewards for PotD or other content to make getting that relic step done with other means.

I think it should be 5 specially if they don't wanna change the scaling of the echo.

I have tried Potd back in shadowbringers when Delubrum only dropped 1 fragment instead of 3, and even then i wasnt worth doing for the relic weapons. The drop rate in potd is so bad, we literally cleared each floor in a minute by pulling everything and it still wasnt worth the time.

Because the drop rate is atrocious on 51-60

By 150-200 it’s basically guaranteed

My friend used to average 9-11 artefacts on a run to 200 and that was way faster with a competent party than 11 runs of DRN in DF

The problem with that is you need a party competent in that specific game mode, for DR, you just need a party.

The problem is it's currently tuned for player numbers that just don't exist anymore.

If you're having issues with DR in an 8man party (like everyone who runs it regularly does), then that means that you aren't using Lost Actions.
Those, and the Echo boost that you get, give you far more damage output than a 24-man alliance who aren't using Lost Actions have.

The Raid scales with the players that enter it, 8 Man should be a very smooth run in under 15 minutes.

Well now that DR drops 3, it’s not only the fastest way but the safest. For PotD, they should make drops guaranteed starting at something like lvl 100 instead of 150 and up the chances at lvl 60-100 (skips the lvl 51-60 spam).

The problem with PotD drops is that it takes a while to get to lvls 150-200 and far from everyone can solo that (and it takes some work and dedication to be able to do it). For players able to get to those levels solo, there’s always the risk of a misstep and getting killed, missing the timer or worse, a DC and you are back to square 1.

Forming a team of randoms for a full PotD clear implies everyone to have about 5 hours straight of free time which again is not possible for a lot of people. Recruiting randoms with PF is also risky and there are jerks that drop in the middle of it or run like chickens with their heads cut off. Had one the other day who wanted his clear and who told us he’d stick until the end so we carried him and when we cleared lvl 150 he just left. Total waste of time. Lesson learned, I now use only discord for my DD runs.

when I recruit for DR I ask everyone to join as a DPS or tank with DPS boost because I play healer and tank but if people know what they are doing you can even do it with only 3 person

Cleared with 3 people with no issue, it's just the forced queue time that's a pain.

The raid doesn't scale, the echo does. 8man is a very smooth run in around 20 minutes. Going under that requires lost action cycling which isn't financially worth it.

This second sentence just simply isn't true. I have almost 100 clears on DR and I've never dumped so much gil into it. Have had dozens of clean and fast clears with 4-6 players.
