Refund or free Sub Time for DDoS NOW
The game is in an unplayable state for months now unless you play at some bizarre time like 10am when everyone is working, and nothing is being done.
They can't fix the DDoS and they made no announcement that they are even planning to address this problem long-term. In fact they are DDoSing themselves probably because their servers are too weak and need time to shut down and cool off every 24 hours.
Not to mention that there are like a bazillion hotfix patches every single patch nowadays.
You can't even play the game now even if you want to!

What other MMO has DDoS every single day? And this is just the first page, out of 113 pages.
Either refund half the sub cost or give us 15 days free NOW. And come clean about the so-called "DDoS" that conveniently always happens when Japan is awake. Your servers are just bad, stop lying that it's DDoS.

Regardless of who caused the issue, their service is down.
Square Enix is still providing a service that we pay for monthly.
Whether they can or can’t mitigate this (I’m not a network or security admin, or any kind of “admin-y” expert) isn’t really our concern here — we’re the customers.
The product we’re paying for is either inaccessible or not functioning as intended, which directly affects the value of our subscription. It’s leading to lost time investment (in things like PotD, PvP, PvE, etc.) and, ultimately, a loss of money. It’s also causing stress over something that’s supposed to be a source of stress relief (ranked CC doesn’t count ;p).
While I can sympathize — to an extent — with arguments about the server-side issues being difficult to fix, I can’t sympathize with the lack of compensation for the lost game time.
