7.1 Story Will Wuk Lamat Die? Or become Married with Koana?

I thinking... The Biggest Mystery and Revelation to Appear in 7.1 Story, which Coming out soon is:

Will Wuk Lamat Die?

Or Will she becoming Married with Koana, so that They become Dawnking and Dawnqueen of Tural.

Why I thinking it is this two Possibilitys:

1) Many Players are :mad::mad::mad: at Wuk Lamat. Instead of story Reasoning, maybe we see meta Reasoning (meta means outside of the game itself, it doesn't Mean Facebook Company ;)). One way to Solving this is to let Wuk Lamat Die in a heroic Sacrifice so that she Becoming irrelevant in the story to appeacing the player.

2) If They don't Bow to player :mad::mad::mad:, I thinking: we are hinted by So many little Details in Story that suggest

A Marriage is coming to Tural with Koana and Wuk Lamat

First Reasoning: Tural has been through A Major War, and a Royal Marriage helping to make people Forget about their trouble.

Royal Marriage is always Used by the royal ruling Class because it Distracts the People from their Trouble. Here is how I Guessing the Quests playing out:

Quest 1: Tural is sad, and we Visit the Palace in Tuliyolol, and Wuk Lamat and Koana describing people sad. Suddeningly, we hear Emergency from Solution 9.


Quest 2: We visiting Solution 9, to finding that Gulool Ja become MISSING!! Everyone needs to finding him, and Warrior of Light need to trace clues and ask residents.

Quest 3: A huge Beast appeared in Living Memory, and Wuk Lamat accompanying us to defeat it. We find that Gulool Ja is in there, because he wanted to find the Petal Love Flower.

Quest 4: Gulool Ja wanting to find Petal Love Flower because he knows Tural is very sad and explaining his plan: Koana and Wuk Lamat will Marry so that the citizens of Tural can travelling to Tuliyolol to enjoy the festival of the Royal Marriage.

Quest 5: We go back to Tuliyolol and start preparing the Royal Marriage. We set up flowers at the palace, talk to Taco makers to preparing make Tacos to feed everyone during Royal Marriage.

Quest 6: Royal Marriage!!! Everyone is happy and eating taco to Enjoy.

Quest 7: After Royal Marriage, Wuk Lamat and Koana kiss, and go back to the palace to rest. Suddenly, we hear Yshtola talking about a Crisis in the Living Memory dimension... leaving a Cliffhanger

I thinking... the Vision of the Writing Team is to develop Wuk Lamat and Koana into proper Rulers of Tural, and show us how they Rule Tural. Royal Marriage is the first step, then 7.2 may be Solving Inflation in Tural while a crisis in Living Memory happening, and 7.3 we will Defeat Necron from FF9...

So she will probably accompanying us For 3 More Patches for now.

This entire thought just gave me the shivers hardcore. Koana and Lamat are STEP Siblings; yes, they're not related by blood, but that doesn't make it any less weird and ick.

I instead cringe. Lamat vanishes into the aether with her poor voice, never to be seen or thought about again.

The following patches are all about Koana and his actions to better lives, as well as some dungeon adventuring.

They need to ARR Tural, successfully "removing" Garfield from the story. Then focus on Solution Nine dealing with the fact that they are all now on a foreign world and need a new leader, seeing as their queen is dead and "King" is a small child. Seriously, this was one of the biggest blunder of the writing staff. Solution Nine is not from the Source, they basically took an entire City and dropped it on an Alien Planet, and while the people of Solution Nine might not have a problem using Souls, the people of the Source most definitely do. Even the two more Technologically advanced nations of the Source would take issue with it. That being Garlameld, who's people believed basic aether use was taboo and accepted Death over being Healed by aether let alone HARVESTING Memories and Souls, and Sharlayan who's Scientists are actively studied the Life Stream and would most likely fully understand just how horribly bad the use of souls as a power source would be to the Source and it's Reflections.

I think this would make for a much more interesting story moving forward. Working with the People of Solution Nine to fix the problems, and learn to live in a new world that is not over-saturated with Electric Aether. And you know helping the survivors of a moon sized meteor taking out a solid chunk of the Lower Continent.

I legitimately don't care what happens with Wuk Lamat so long as I never interact with her again.

This just might be the bait of all time.

My one hope is we don't get stuck with her the entire patch series. I expect 7.1-7.3 she will still be a focus, but please as we pivot to 8.0 let 7.4 and 7.5 be done with her. Though, I worry that with the backlash they double down on her, make her a Scion and we never get rid of her.

Given that Koana and Wuk Lamat are adopted siblings and raised to be view each other as brother and sister I uh...don't think anyone wants to see them get married. Tural already has enough issues as is and I am fairly certain the decision to make their nation's anthem "Sweet Home Alabama" would just add to the list.

Poor Koana. I know he has a bit of a siscon thing goin, but he deserves way better.

In my honest opinion and genuine wish for the better at improvement of the current story plot, I suggest that Wuk Lamat should have an unaccented moment similar to the last of Haurchefant between 7.1 and 8.0. I would love to hear Soken create a superlative black gospel song fitting for her demise. A marriage between Koana and Wuk Lamat seems a far cry from reasonable, and I would argue that G'raha Tia would become a more suitable groom for Koana, though naturally that could be arranged after dealing with the unwelcome guests.

The good news is that the "ruler" characters have never become Scions. Leaders of the nation states. Aymeric, Hien, Cirina, Magnai, Sadu, etc. Lyse STOPPED being a Scion, in fact.

Crystal Exarch is the one exception, and he was a Student of Baldesion before he was the ruler of a nation state, so joining up with the Scions (a friendly partner of the Students even during ARR; that's how Krile and Minfilia knew each other) made sense as a lateral move.

Anyway, I suspect you're right and we're stuck with her for 7.1-7.3 but hopefully we get Koana to modulate her Wukkiness a bit.

Please, I get annoyed by Moogles too sometimes but to compare them to Wuk Lamat is an insult even to them. She is far below Moogles.

Most likely answer - she follows the same path as Aymeric, Lyse, etc.. She'll be around and a significant part of the patch content but not as central as during the main MSQ, and then she'll pop up now and then in future expansions as a side character since we'll be elsewhere while she remains in Tural to be co-Dawnservant.

Edit: Adding my prediction now - the cabal on this forum will simultaneously gripe over her continued presence in the patches while also claiming "victory" for her gradually sliding to the background, completely ignoring that this is the standard treatment every character of her nature is given.

Wuk Lamat and Koana will probably be put in politician purgatory, but I hope CBU3 starts writing more characters who develop over a longer period of time. It doesn't feel like any of the Dawntrail characters were really written to last as major characters past this expansion.

I feel like what the writers did with Lyse in particular went beyond what they do with other politicians. In Stormblood she and Fordola were built up as foils to each other, but that pretty much disappeared in Shadowbringers onwards. Even in the Fordola-centric role quest she doesn't appear. She still shows up sometimes, but it's nothing that really builds on her character much. It's weird.

She'll become genderfluid/trans and the PC will have to be dragged through her ~epic transition journey~, since according to the Eng VA "Trans characters MUST be voiced by trans ppl uwu" and with Kate at his side and that sweet cash from SBI all the tourists will cream themselves before they go back to their erp "venues"
