Please, put an ILVL requirement on every Trials

I think this may have already been posted, but this is something that is bothering me
Why does every first two trials from every expansions have no ILVL requirement?

Ran into a lvl 73 player in lvl 40 gear, 50-70 accessories and 70 weapon on Titania. Needless to say, they got one shot by everything, including raidwides. I'd guess it's an oversight from the player who is leveling alt jobs and forgot to get better gear, but I don't think it's supposed to be happening

You can actually tag for Valigarmanda and 2nd DT trial in lvl 1 gear, that feel kinda wrong

So please, just put a minimum ILVL on these. Just the level requirement is not enough

I remember once getting in cutters cry while playing healer...

The lancer was wearing level 1 glamour pieces for their body and leg slots ....

Didn't think to check their gear until they just started getting one shot by mechanics.

Not gonna lie, I usually wait till after they're turned into a fine red mist before I remind them to equip better gear. I need to get my entertainment from somewhere.

It is actually funny to see someone shows up in a dt trial nakrd because that person thought he could cheese it but can't because there is no ilvl check

I had this for some ARR dungeon as a healer. Tank was wearing crafter gear, so literally had no VIT on some parts.

But noooo people will complain

You need to be in at least item level 90 gear to queue for Trial roulette. That would still be really bad for Titania, but it means if they queued for trial roulette then they probably switched after entering to troll.

If they queued directly, it would normally be for the MSQ, in which case previous MSQ duties would force them to have a better item level.

So overall it's very rare this would even happen unless someone was trolling.

There are people who completely, purposefully, and remorselessly neglect their gear on alt jobs until they get them to cap, if at all. If you mention gear to them, they'll give you some variation of "so what, I'm just leveling an alt".

While their main armor was mainly lvl 40 dungeon gear, their accessories were varying between lvl 50 and 70, with their weapon being 70, I wonder if this was enough to get pass the trial roulette ILVL requirement, and they were unlucky enough to get Titania? I'll update the main post to avoid misleading, it was a mistake on my end to not mention it
Even with some 70 gear, their HP were still way too low, and they just could not survive more than a few seconds anyway...

I've had this happened before in mid endwalker with Zodiark normal. That one NIN zoned in in their smallclothes and their manderville weapon lmao.

Tank insta pull so they stayed naked.

It sort of happened to me by accident. I queued, went to do fashion report then onto other gold saucer games without reverting gear and forgetting I was queued, queue popped at some point and I accepted without thinking…

It should be for every duty. I have seen tanks wearing cloth caster gear.

It's wild to me that this isn't a thing already. Yeah, make people have the minimum needed gear on to get into a trial. It is NOT difficult to acquire.

I had a fully naked, nothing but weapon and jobstone Dancer in Emanation. And I'm sure Jobstone was only because Dancer has no option to not have it. She spent the entirety of it dead because everything one shot her, and me and the other healer didn't want to keep wasting MP for her to die right away again, after the 5th rez.

I don't know if they were accidentally swapping gear, trolling, forgetful, or what. But the game really shouldn't allow people to go into any duty like that.

Almost definitely trying to ilevel cheese.

Trial roulette should just require you to be geared enough to do the current highest level non-extreme trial you can have unlocked and can enter at your level.

Same with Normal Raids.

I'm not sure why they haven't done this. I would get mostly drgs and mnks back in Heavensward and Stormblood que into Titan Hard and just get deleted by stomps alone after his 3rd jump due to their low hp and then yell at me and my co-healer for not keeping them alive or raising. Heck I would see this kind of stuff even after they implemented the gear coffers. I also wish they would go through ARR gear to make them how the rest of the gear is tagged. As there's no reason to get people in gathering or crafting gear in dungeons ever since they started to give you many ways to get materia. Or having a tank or melee running around in caster gear making you wonder why they're squishier than a just unlocked Drk. Course I'm not sure what is worse allowing people to have such low ilv in higher lv fights or allowing people to bring in an ARR job as a class in higher lv fights.

If you're doing it as a full pre-made then fine have at it, but I'd love to think most players don't want to be subjected to that crap by a random person or two.

Probably. All the more reason ilvl requirements should be in place. 7 people don't have to deal with one constantly dead person, when if they were trying to go for speed, it'd be faster if we had the extra DPS in the first place.
