During the next Blue mage update the level 70 Ultimate raids should be allowed to be done by blue parties, I would argue TEA too but for now I'll stay with the 70 ultimate raids.
The reasons why this has not happened yet is because of the sentiment that Blue mage will ruin the "sanctity" of ultimate raids. Sure this might of been an excuse 5 years ago but the level 70 raids have already been ruined by scaling and losing core game mechanics that the raids were built around such as TP and Healer DPS rotations.
Blue mage can now actually bring back that sanctity because the fights will no longer be solved because the blue mage side of things would have to be solved too. Also next update should bring an actual Limit Break for BLU so they can do fights that require them.

Even ignoring the sanctity argument, the main reward for doing ultimates (I would argue- I don't do Ultimate's myself) is really the titles that come from the achievements. As demonstrated by the Blue Mage savage achievements it's not impossible to have separate achievements for parties of BLU- just have the original achievements not unlock if there are BLU in the party (and then separate BLU achievements and titles, just stick the word "blue" in there somewhere- "The Blue Legend")
But as I said, I'm not someone who does Ultimates but it's not just Ultimates they should be doing this with. All content of apropriate level should be doable with limited jobs as a way of bringing new life to that older content. We should be seeing BLU ultimate raids and BLU deep dungeons, and maybe even BLU exploration zones (althought I can understand why that might not happen- exploration zones thrive on massive populations and having separate instances for BLU's might not be worth it, and BLU's running around Bozja could ruin it for everyone else). Given that you can get BLU weapons from Criterio Savage, the fact that BLU will (based on what we've seen so far) never be allowed into Criterion Savage is ridiculous.
On the limit break point, I hope you're right. Dawntrail has been very "Final Fantasy IX" reference wise, so it is the time to give Blue Mages Frog Drop as their limit break (with LB2 and 3 dropping bigger frogs) -

Blue Mages are never getting an LB so every Ultimate other than the Unending Coil of Bahamut will be impossible for them, seeing as that all of the other ones have mandatory Tank Limit Break (UWU, TEA, DSR, TOP), Healer LB (UWU, TOP), Melee LB (UWU, TOP), and Ranged LB (TOP) moments.
I don't look forward to seeing P4(S) get attempted by Blue Mages since Belone is a intrinsically role-based mechanic that instantly kills you if you mess it up. -

Blue mage allows freedom you can make your own build you can be a dot mage, a ogcd spam mage or a slowcast mage. Unfortunately it's highly improbable that SE will ever give us BLU lb. And even less probable that they will give us ultimates. As it stands only 3200 players even accomplished the "Forbidden Blue" achievement anyway so it's not like there's any truly practical demand for BLU content that would make the effort of giving BLU a lb worth it in the first place. It's just gonna be the same loop ad infinitum, perhaps with beastmaster thrown in there too.
