What gear are you using?

Well i plan on getting 50 BTN over the weekend and i'm still using low level gear, i was wondering what kind of gear you 50s were using? Right now i'm stacked Output, around 110 i think at 46, other 2 are in the 60s. I'm not going to use melded gear and i've heared stacking Perception isn't a good idea. Any help is appreciated.

My stats at 50 without food are: (depending on what I'm doing I'll take different food)

Gathering 107, Perception 140, Output 118

Explorers Bandana (Soon to be dropped in favor of Felt Coif of Toiling+1 for Int meld and +2 perception)
Woolen Doublet of Strength
Raptorskin Culottes of Intelligence ( INT meld)
Raptorskin Survival Belt
Dated Lined Gaiters (+17 gathering :) )
Felt Work Gloves of Strength ( w/ Str Meld)
Serpentcarriers ring
the +5 gathering and +5 perception earring and necklace (cant remember the names right now)
Int +15 ring
Horned Hatchet with Gathering +5 Meld
the lvl 43 scythe cant remember the name.

I think that's it.

To Maximize attempts(8/node) on Grade 5 Nodes you need 140 Output. To have a decent rate of success you need atleast 110 gathering and perception should be bumped as high as possible. Dont forget to Get STR and INT. INT increase number of items gathered and str increase success rate.

Raptorskin Jerkin +1, Boots +1, Cullotes +1, Choker +1 and Survival Belt +1.

Felt Coif of Toiling +1

Felt Work Gloves +1

Serpentcarrier's Ring

Lilly and Serpent Ring

Electrum Earings+1

Militia Bracelets

Dated Steel Scythe(Just haven't upgraded it yet)

I think 140 is over-stacking output for max node attempts

I wish it was, I actually settle for 7 attempts per node just so I can have higher Perception.

Thanks for all the replies, looking at the price of Militia Bracelets on my server.. holy crap 10.5m.. lol >.<

Militia Bracelets are extremely rare so don't worry about them too much if you're just hitting 50, same with the Hamlet Cutter's Hat.

As far as I know, STR for Botanist only reduces the variance in where items are in the 2nd phase of the gathering minigame. Since you can look up or memorize where items are located, and there is insignificant if any variance at all at level 50 no matter where you go, it's not a big deal to ignore it if you can't afford or get ahold of pieces with STR on them.

That said, it might not be a bad idea to invest in it when you get the chance as it will probably become much more useful when they revamp gathering.

I'd be really curious to know what the numbers for HQ pulls are with axe of the luminary, militia bracelets, hamlet cutters hat and militia scythe... chances of someone having all of those would be rare.. super botanist

^ I think getting most of that gear Avraamii pointed out is doable. I mean on our server the Militia Scythe was going for 700k at one point...when I wasnt bothering to gather go figure lol (waiting for the price drop before I buy it) and Cutters hat is around 200k. Out of all those I think Luminary Axe would be the most time consuming.
