Carbuncle

Please can we get the option for diamond carbuncle now? Think Alphy is done with it now..

Why stop there? At minimum I think there should be a carbuncle colour for every element plus Astral/Umbral.

Wish we could get more glam for it, yeah.

I personally want a baby dragon model like Azdaja, being a dragon mage and all.

Or at least a cat. I'm personally tired of the weird bunny and its constant seizure.

More egi glamours would be appreciated, plz SE. I want to glamour my fairy into a Moogle but you don’t have the audacity to let me do it.

Silver Carbuncle would be appreciated too lol. It’d be nice if they did something more than just standing there (… menacingly!)

I like these ideas a lot. Leveling arcanist was the most fun I had leveling a class. Carbuncles felt like a true partner rather than a servant.

Maybe Square Enix can give us special carbuncle glamours for Bahamut and Phoenix. But, which ones would match their elemental makeup?

Can the carbuncle at least actually DO something? Give it a weak auto-attack so it doesn't feel like such a blatant placeholder between the big summons. Even just facing the enemy would be an improvement.

Unless its constant staring off into space is supposed to represent me summoning my ADHD, and the egis are just intrusive thoughts come out to slap something once in a while. Then I guess I can understand it.

Bring back true pet mechanics!

Also Diamond, Onyx and Green (Rename Emerald to Aquamarine and give us a true Emerald!)

We've basically went from having to protect our own carbuncles to our carbuncles protecting us without attacking. I would like to do more with Carby.
If I can't get that wish, than at least throw us some glamour for our carbuncles, because that part at least was long overdue.

Give Carby all of the colors given it doesn't do anything. Give Carby an auto attack, even if it's just for a few hundred damage once every several seconds. If Eos/Selene can do small heals, then Carbuncle can do small attack. Just let it do SOMETHING besides just...stand there because it "HAS" to be out for the job to function.

Carby could at least be playing attack animations on casts.

Carbuncle from P5. Would be a fitting summon for summoner. But all SE could give us was Bahamut 2. They really dropped the ball on this. They want to give a sense of progression as you level but they can't add new summons even via the egi system?

While they are at it, Ramuh, Shiva and Leviathan and for Scholar, Feo Ul.

I still dream of a Demi-Alexander.

Sumnoner Carby should do auto-attacks. Every time I see people go "Carby doesn't do anything!!" I get confused and then remember, oh yeah, I'm a Scholar...

Also, we should be able to glamour Seraph as a bigger Carbuncle.

There's a small part of me that thinks it would be amazing if you could purchase a Demi- glam of a final raid boss with the savage books, and a glam of every EX raid using the totems.

It will never happen, of course, but I can dream of Suzaku-Egi and Demi-Alexander...

I always joke "/petsize all KAIJU" in these sort of threads, but I kind of half want to be able to set the size of all pets to Bahamut scale. Give me a carbuncle the size of the carby mounts!

Proto Carbuncle for level 110 please

Sounds like a really good idea I loved alternating between summoner pet glamours.

I just want to be able to change the gemstones summons to either the carbuncles or the egis, just like how it is pre-90.

Also on that note, change the gemstone summons to be animations instead of entities. They just pop up to do one attack and leave anyway... This way the carby wouldn't be away 99.9% of the time making Radiant Aegis a bit unreliable as an emergency resource.

If they made Feo Ul a fairy option, I might actually try to learn SCH!

Would have been cool if at 100 the carbuncles and the fairies would get upgraded to new models.

Remove solar Bahamut and give me Solar Carbuncle or even better Carbuncle Zero or Swoluncle!... Anything but discount silver Bahamut.

Hell, I'd take the King of the Namazu.

To add to this, Good King Moogle Mog XII Demi would be peak. Better than Bahamut Returns, anyway lol

Even if it does zero damage, just having it move and appear to attack would be an improvement.

YES GIVE US MORE GLAM FOR CARBY! But my biggest problems for carby or summons in general is that they dont atk anymore... I miss the time when carby can atk :(

I crave all carbuncle colors and also proto-carbuncle instead of bahamut 2.0 moonmoon edition.

I'm still waiting for my Proto Carbuncle summon. Yoshi-PLEEEASSE!!!! D'x
