Please fix the Duty Roulette

Love the game, here are some fixes that need to be made that would help the player base's QoL, and I know players want this fixed.

1. Main Scenario
a. Main Scenario should pull dungeons from the entire MSQ, not just ARR, but not extra dungeons.
b. The current dungeons have unskippable cutscenes. Please fix those. It is a major complaint around the player base and should be a priority. At this time those dungeons have a "Meme" status of being the worst dungeons to play because of the unskippable cutscenes.
c. Main Scenario roulette should automatically select a dungeon based off the lowest level player in the Light Party.

2. Guildhests
a. These duties are designed to teach player basics to there roles in a party and different enemy mechanics, but these duties only go up to level 40. The last update to these from my understanding was patch 2.1. Ever since then, there has been numerous mechanics that would make for amazing Guildhests Duties, even if it is two every five levels as the current Guildhests are set up for now.
b. Guildhests should automatically select a Guildhests based off the lowest level player in the Light Party or Full Party.
c. EXP should scale with the player's current level similar to Leveling Roulette.

Those are just a few items that players expected to be fixed but currently are still plaguing players.

You're missing the point.

The whole reason MSQ Roulette has such high rewards is so that people will queue for it and fill those three specific duties, the climax of A Realm Reborn. Otherwise sprouts would languish in their queues.

If the cutscenes were skippable, people would leave sprouts behind. They wouldn't be able to participate in the actual dungeons. This happened regularly before they made the cutscenes unskippable and placed the duties in MSQ Roulette.

If you don't like doing MSQ Roulette, just don't queue for it. And be glad you weren't playing when Praetorium and Porta Decumana were combined into one duty.

(Although I understand if you have trouble telling which roulette is which and wind up accidentally queueing for MSQ Roulette when you were going for something else; since you inexplicably posted this complaint in the Localization forum, I can only imagine that must happen to you fairly often.)

I mean snide comment aside they are totally right, you have missed on every point the reason the MSQ roulette exists in the form it does and half your suggestions are things that used to exist that they specifically removed because they didn’t work

"Forum database"...? Who calls forums that?

I do think MSQ roulette could mix in a few others, even if one some kind of weighted bias. You absolutely do languish as a sprout trying to go through the middle expansions on major story quests --- but now there is the Trust system too so... may as well open it up a little.

Also please add back very glib. There's too many t-shirts and sprouts are looking at me weird.

My gripe with msq roulette is the ultimate fight. He has way to much hp, jobs don't have any good skills and it just goes on and on and on. Nerf the hp or let us skip the cutscenes because it's beyond terrible.

Cutscenes need to remain the playerbase was an ass to new players from 2.0 release to when the fix was implemented. The high exp compensates your time and if you add other fights then you will get people vote dismissing to force abandon or quit to get a better fight later.

The ultima fight has the HP it does so that the 3 instances go for roughly the same amount of time

Castrum is similar to a dungeon, prae is just cutscenes and ultima weapon is a trial, if the trial was 3 minutes long and the dungeon 20 and the movie 30 people would either leave the trial because it gave less experience (like they did with old castrum) or leave prae because the time isn’t worth the experience

Not sure how this deals with localization. Really wish more areas of these forums were treated like the tech problem section.

I still say it was a mistake, they should have turned em into a lv 50 raid - do 8 parts if you have to. There can be as much cutscenes in between as you need...
