Find a thread where people are already talking about that specific subject and contribute your thoughts there. No one is important and you won't be special for making the next Viper thread, just like the creator of whatever thread you should be contributing to isn't special.

Go look at the JP forum. Feedback threads with thousands of replies and millions of views.

Organized.

Easy to collate.

Palatable for developers.

I chalk it up to cultural differences personally. It's not inherently good or bad; one advantage of having many smaller threads is they can be focused on specific things. For example, instead of having a BLM megathread where you have to dig through it to find conversations you care about you can find threads talking about specific BLM stuff, like ice paradox, thunder procs and so forth.

In that sense I prefer the style of having many smaller threads as it's easier to find posts that are focused on talking about what I specifically care about

So they can ignore the English forums even more?

You look at it the wrong way. The current state is the result of the same topics with thousands of replies and millions of views on OUR forums being blatantly ignored. No wonder it becomes chaos.

Ignored over and over for nearly a decade, mind you. I'd love to ask OP at what point we're allowed to say enough is enough, if not now?

The JP forms are so dialuted of interesting discussion and overly organised that I'm glad the western forums are complete chaos. It feels so much more human to complain and having multiple threads of people yelling, then you go over to JP and they conform have personal forum rules like not being allowed to bring up other MMOs and just have neuted discussions.
We should never take inspiration from the jp forums en would be so boring.

the last time they cared about the NA servers is when 1.0 nearly put FFXIV into the dirt 6 feet under. Since then-- with the state of jobs/battle design, and even fanfest--have been nothing but middle fingers and all quiet on the western front. I doubt thatll change anytime soon unless we meet another 1.0 during or after DT
