Why'd you eliminate the ghost transformation from Skalla?

I haven't run that dungeon in ages, but just the other day I did it for the first time, and saw that you guys removed the ghost transformation to float over the platforms.

That was such a neat little thing.. it added flavor to what would otherwise be a very forgettable dungeon. Cool things like that make dungeons unique and interesting and not just "pull trash to A, kill trash, rinse repeat."

They adjusted all dungeons when they introduced Duty Support, because there are some mechanics their NPCs can't handle. It seems the ghost transformation was one of them. I miss it too. :(

I'd be ok if they make up for it by giving us this transformation as mount option. :D

Ohh! I didn't even think of that. Agreed with having it as a mount!

I don't remember seeing that in the patch notes... Welp, RIP another cool thing.

They didn't point each singular change out during the EW patches, just a list of which duties were adjusted but not how. So it's easy to miss.

Thats why i hate that feature... i just takes all the fun little things...

It was removed because instead of catering to people who play MMOs with people like they are intended to be they are catering to people who want to play solo. Therefore all the content is being dumbed down and replaced for the trust system.

How was this impossible for the NPCs to handle, anyway? If you get too far away from them, they already teleport to your side.

I could imagine it's one of these cases in programming where a thing looks doable and possible from the outside but is a big mess in the backend.

Should've known Alphinaud will be too chicken for that duty. This is what you get for not bringing Alisaie instead. Yes, no healer, but she has Vercure, this has to count for something. :D
