Darnus confirmed as Elezen?

Unless I am mistaken, I believe all of his emotes are Elezen emotes. This would confirm the theories that he's an Elezen, would it not?

I am curious however, how people came to the conclusion that Gaius is 'definitely' hyur.

Elzen/Highlander....its why he always got picked on in Garlond High an swore that one day they would all be very very sorry.

He's in the elezen DAT files as well.

He's not dead, Dalamud absorbed him (Which makes me think that he's somehow possessing dalamud in spirit ala FFX's sin theory) But what I wonder is... why does Dalamud absorb things, crystallized and in spirit? Methinks it's more than just an artificial meteor/satellite.

Small spirit particles being pulled toward something with a large gravitational field would make a lot of sense. I was not confused by that at all. What I was confused by was the fact that he burst into particles in the first place. Was it simply to make his death look more dramatic, or is it a sign of things to come? I know that when you kill garuda, she also bursts into particles in the same way, though she is a 'primal'. This could mean he is in fact something more than mortal... oooooooor they just wanted the cutscene to look really cool. ;P

i'm telling you, they're both lalafells. four lalafells rather. 2 per each suit of armor. WAIT AND SEE

I think it would be rather humorous to have a Lalafell super-villain.

Thank you for this... very glad that more people are beginning to notice what I saw in the final CS. There is something mythically sinister about Dalamud and how it was placed up there.

And yes, it makes sense that Nael is Elezen... we must remember that the Elezen were the first race on the Eorzean continent... which is exactly where the ancient Allagan Empire used to be (during the 3rd Astral Era). (Cid?) and a couple other NPCs also make mention of how the House Darnus family have held knowledge of Allagan artifacts for generations.

Also, I can't exactly remember but their capital is said to have been between the Royal Runway near Ul'Dah and sprawled into the Royal Starway near Gridania... or something like that.

Somehow, I also don't think it is coincidence that the Archon Louisouix...(or shall I say "Thaliak?")...is Elezen.

Hildibrand and Darnus both do the same self-hug and the arms in the air thing, just thought I'd throw that out there.
