Can someone help me Find a Quote from a Rep or Yoshida about If you own FFXIV..

You get 2.0 for free Via Download A lot of people are worried that they have to "re-buy" the box and I want to confirm to them that they don't need to by the box all over again, just requires a subscription after Free Trial Ends.

Just trying to do my part to get people into 2.0 and at "least" try it out.

Awesome and thank you for the link. I was just showing a couple friends the 2.0 trailer just this weekend (they had quit back in October 2010), so all information like this is great... appreciate it.

I know right :P, I would too :P, well since its a Different Client/Servers you'll probably have to download the whole thing again. so probably 15-20GB. I want this game to Succeed so badly.. I'll even help Advertise to try to give them the light they Deserve after all this time trying to make it better for all of us =).

They should make the client downloadable through Steam...

It could also act as an interface for downloading player made Add-Ons to both PC and PS3 players

You only need to buy it if you need the key to make an account. If you already have an account and didn't forget the account datas, then all what you need is the software.

How about for the PS3 Version? there has been discussions about that, if they already have a code for the PC Version.. do They nee to get the PS3 Version of the game, or will that be downloadable via PSN?

Id say its almost gOnna be a given that you will have to buy the ps3 version.

I assumption on my by, but I would assume that ff14 accounts are going to work along the lines of ff11 accounts. If you had a active ff11 account you could login on any system using that account as long as it had the game client up there. So its better to say that "someone" is going to have to buy the game but not everyone if you have a friend with a copy. In my case my neighbor is going to buy it for the ps3 I will download the client using his copy and try to login before i shell out my own cash lol.
