It's time to stop with undyeable gear

I think we can finally all admit that they need to start making all gear dyeable. It's beyond embarrassing that we're getting recycled gear that's still not dyeable (Paglth'an sets from 91 dungeon and Skydeep gear being undyeable versions of Ronkan tome gear from Shb). All mogstation gear should be made dyeable immediately, it has always been absolutely pathetic that they're selling NPC gear for real money that isn't even dyeable. Also I'm of the mindset that normal mode raid gear should be dyeable too, make the savage gear have some more detail to them or have normal mode gear have one dye channel while savage has two. Just anything to stop this plague of undyeable gear. SE you're not a small indie company! Have some god damn self respect, you don't have to settle for this mediocrity. Please and thank you.

True, but how else will the small indie company regurgitate old content for the next/future expansion? Aren't you excited that this undyable piece of gear will likely be dyable next expansion? Don't you love this piece of gear? Too bad, we can't make it dyable guys! Please understand.

It's more like this undyeable gear will still be undyeable 2-5 expansions later. Like we still don't have dyeable versions of the Pharos Sirius hard mode gear from HW and those sets were loved by many.

Dyable savage gear is incentive to complete the raid. So, no.

I agree with the recycled glamour tho, the recycled Ronkan gear had no reason to be undyable when its original version is.

Savage already gets exclusive weapons and like I said, they could add extra details or add an additional dye channel to savage gear to make them stand out more. I just want the concept of undyeable gear scrubbed from this game for good.

Or they could make the stats higher… *shrugs* or whatever would actually be worth it. I’ll get it eventually anyway, even if I have to unsync some of them later. But I agree that the concept of undyeable gear in general needs to go.

I really thought that moving forward with a second dye channel that everything was going to be dyeable… maybe not right away, but eventually. I’m not expecting them to get through every set of past gear overnight. But we got new gear with NO dye channels at all… why? And if anything, the recycled gear from old dungeons should definitely be! I’ve wanted the Scouting colors of the Pagl’than gear for my DNC since that dungeon came out, but no, we got dark, undyeable colors that I’d never wear. Which is a shame when they did such an amazing job with all the AF gear this time around!

I agree. It seems as if undyable gear is only there to be reused in the future but dyeable.

Even if everything turned out to be dyeable the could STILL recycle them just changing the dye patterns. They reused the Shire sets two other times and they always came in a different dye pattern.

However what irks me most is that they re-use sets that were ALREADY reused before when there are so many candidates like the Warg set, or the Lost Thief/Plague Bringer sets from HW.

They already have higher stats, raiders also get exclusive weapons and an exclusive mount. You'd think that would be enough to let people have at least one dye channel for normal mode.

Also yeah, that was upsetting for me too. I was hoping we'd be getting more dyeable gear now with the whole dye system update but nope, recycled and still undyeable gear straight from the first dungeon, enjoy. Those Paglth'an sets are fantastic and it really pains me that they're still not dyeable, same with those Pharos Hard and Saint Mocianne's Arboretum sets from HW.

i was a little worried when prelim didnt show any dye changes for gear
its honestly such an odd thing to hide but still good change

I always wanted the gear like the Commander coat to be dyeable. I think doing a 200 wins acheivment in a PvP mode that is not all to great and getting a piece of gear like that should be dyeable at the very least.

I do like the glam but the added touch of it being dyeable (duel dyeable) would be nice.

Second dye channel will be the inseam. Hire a fashion designer to choose the dye channel....

Savage already has plenty of incentive with exclusive weapon, mount and (usually)orchestrion. If they want to have some exclusive glam options as well, they could've done as people theoriezed back when Abyssos gear was teased, and have special effects be exclusive to the savage versions.

They have one. She's just clearly checked out at this point. We've had some pretty uninspired armors lately and the dyes are a mess.
