servers down in eu

just got dropped from game saying that lobby server is not accessable
i PAY you for the game and i cant play it
immediate action required

The servers are back.

As for now Chaos data center is down

Cerberus atm still not up though. Guess there is something with the log in server there

For some time eu lodestone was out too, saying "unexpected high traffic" or whatever, so it might be slighty bigger issue.

Yeah it's not saying that more but severs have been down for close to 30 minutes now and the Server Status still say they are up.

Looks like Light has a large login queue and Chaos is still dead. I'm keeping an eye on https://arrstatus.com/.

I'm starting to feel Chaos's infrastructure is not up to par with the other DCs.

When the servers go down, not that they do, it always seems Chaos stays down a lot longer than the other DCs. Thinking back to the months prior to Dawntrail, the european DC ended up going down a fair few times. Light always seemed to come up quicker than Chaos. I don't know what's going on, but is the infrastructure for Chaos outdated or something? I'm no server expert, but it's pretty obvious something is wrong here as it's always Chaos that's suffering.

I hope they can look into this as it's becoming increasingly frustrating.

Thats.... Not wrong actually.

Still kinda sad that Chaos feels now like a meatshield for other DC in case of DDoS....i mean every other datacenter was back in few minutes but chaos is still down

I got kicked from Twintania and now the Lobby Server can't be found. :(

I guess, they have a serious issue with the EU lobby servers. And they swapped them so Chaos players can log in. If you are online on Light then do not log out. Because you will not be able to log in again.

What a pain in the arse. Have been at work all day, looking forward to a bit of FFXIV time and now I have time to log in, I can't :(

Same here had a crappy day wanted to relax with some ff. Got online with alt if only i knew i would have stayed online but no i had to relog to main and now i cant connect.

Same happened to me just now. Wanted to switch characters and now im out.

guess its the universe way of saying its time to sleep. guess will try in the morning to finish custom deliveries. And i know i left it too late.
By the way i could log in to my character on oceanic server just fine. but really dont feel like leveling from lvl 15 and arr story at the start for the 8 or more time
