Nice trailer - Terrible voice acting tho

as title said, voice acting made the trailer a funny movie :o Trailer is a nice tho ! .)

I thought it was fine to me, Got me excited and chills. Just me though

Yes, the voice is pretty out of place in the epicness of the trailer..

I didn't mind it. :/

It's not bad, but it's not great, in my opinion. It's leagues better than the FFXI Adoulin trailer, at least. I think they should've gotten the guy who does Lachdanan's voice in his journal entries in Diablo 3 >_>;

I really was not a fan of the voice, but that's just my personal preference against cheesy voice overs in general. I'd rather just have some incredible music, sound effects, and the occasional text to read, rather than having someone read it out for me in a silly voice. I loved it though, and I can't wait to see more of the First Emperor of Garlemald, and some actual gameplay!

bring back the guy who did the XI CG intro. Smooth VA over there!

Should just have j-pop-esque music playing to stuff blowing up and ppl dying. That worked great for 13.
I mean no one like 13 and it still did insanely well

It's kinda like Diablo, their franchises sold themselves, yet both weren't up to the standards of a lot of people.

It was pretty amateurish.
Especially when "un-emaginabul de-struk-shon from de skies."; how corny.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought it ended up devaluing the cut scene. D=

As I mentioned before, the man just tries too hard. His voice isn't nearly deep nor grizzled enough to sound that epic- which is what it sounds like what he was going for.

Also, his rather ambiguous accent bugs me.

Anyway, props to the OP. You said it well.

I love the trailer. Seriously.

Although I loved the trailer for original XIV, too, so...

But the voiceover sounds like a nerdy kid trying too hard. yeesh.

It almost sounds like the roeg leve giver in the first trailer. I didn't pay attention to the voice more than I did the visuals. Really awesome trailer.

the voice is a gd voice but only problem is just didnt fit into the trailer, apart from voicing the wrong person the trailer was epic!!!!

Maybe if they were going to use that voice they should of used a different style of editing to make it fit a little better

The words and the emotion that went into it didn't seem to match up to me. It doesn't grab you really so they need to step it up if they want to draw in new people. For people who are currently playing it doesn't matter but for people who have never played the game and maybe don't know a whole lot about it. I don't think its gonna make them want to play it.
