I don't see "add 1200 MP to DRK because we didn't intend Dark Knight to be harder to play" on there. But the added enmity to the movement skill will help give back the utility it lost.
They're only listening to JP and not us, as is evidenced by the whole world telling them to get the fuck off viper and leave it alone. Yet they still plan "several" changes related to "busyness".
Did JP complain that they had to press too many buttons ?

Well here's hoping the cd reduction on the new draw is signifikant enough to let us have more cards to use. Not just a handfull of Seconds to help not drift it as easily.
Only thing I would personally like right now for Viper is to have a combo-flowchart in the Actions menu so it's easier for people to see how the two paths work and changes.
And also an option for the awakened skills to have something similar to GNB's fang/claw/talon combo instead of being placed all over the hotbar. An option so you can keep the current, but also the single button.
Also, isn't this the fastest we've gotten info on job changes? Expansion hasn't even been out a week and they're already making changes to a lot of jobs. Don't recall this from the other expansions besides perhaps a potency adjustment.
DRK and GNB combined have enough players that they made enough noise for the devs to hear they needed to return utility to our gap closers. So I can hold out a bit of hope they'll hear us when we say they need to undo the MP generation error that makes DRKs harder to play.

Who the hell are those people complaining about Viper less than a week after release? The job is fine, it needs a bit of thought put into it, but the business is what is attractive to it. How come Square are so quick to change it, do they not have faith in their product?
The consideration to Viper changes, a newly released job, worries me a bit of what they'll consider good enough when the 8.0 job improvements come.
Changes to lightspeed for ast are welcome, curious about reduction to cards they mentioned. Could make the lightspeed changes a moot point. Excited to see BLM buffs as well as umbral soul available earlier.
Viper is busy but simple to pick up and learn. I don't see why anything needs to be adjusted.
I don't even know what they mean by "busyness" for viper. The ogcds? The basic combos? generation & legacy?
I don't think its smart to change viper this early, its not even 1 full month of feedback from the total playerbase. As this might result in a type of homogenization that makes the job feel worse. Especially when they have stated for 8.0 they are going to undo homogenization. Which based on my recollection of what jobs used to be from heavensward and stormblood, they were more complex and could be considered "busy".
Good to see they're more interactive and quicker with updates to the jobs/the game in general. Those 4 months of no changes are very painful for a live service with monthly bills.

Give us a reason to press more than 11111111. That doesn’t include fishing for a meme-y 24-man party where everyone dies right and left, and eats all the pretty orange circles, just so I’m clear.
Despite some of the dungeons requiring me to use more Rapture casts, I’m still pressing Glare 90% of the time. I don’t know how anyone could say this is fun design, personally. Haven’t gotten a healer to 100 yet to try out the EXs. But their healing requirements will go down the better geared everyone gets. So any enjoyment of having to actually heal will be short-lived. As has been the case for years.
At least Lightspeed is getting charges. ASTs have only been asking about this since Shadowbringers—better late than never, I guess? Doesn’t change the cards being dull and even more of a shell of their former selves, but I guess I can’t really ask for much when it comes to healers in this game…
“easing of directional requirements” it is Not that hard to hit the positionals come on
I admit, whenever people find jobs 'fun' usually results in being overpowered most of the time, or something broke that it worked with a most simple rotation but still has enough DPS to boot (remembering Dragon Kick spam).
I remain curious what they exactly are changing before giving an opinion.
