Stop Praetorium Spam

9 out of 10 main scenario roulettes are this mission over and over and over again and in the vast majority of cases, not a single sprout is even in it.
Can you PLEASE reduce the chance to have Praetorum turn up, when nobody in the queue needs this mission?
Having nothing but the same single duty in the MSQ Roulette for days or even weeks on end would already be annoying if it was something that didn't take so long and didn't have unskippable cutscenes, but like this it's just pure frustration.

..Why are you queuing MSQ roulette if you're not prepared to spend nearly an hour with unskippable cutscenes?

I get a pretty good rotation of duties when I do MSQ roulette. I'm not seeing Praetorium 9 times out of 10. I might be seeing it 5 times out of 10 at most, which wouldn't be out of the ordinary for a roulette with only 3 options.

If you're complaining about the surge of Praetorium the last 6 weeks of Endwalker, blame the Moogle tomestone event and the larger number of irregular tomestones it rewarded. It caused more players to direct queue for it.

As Hasrat said, you know what you're queueing for and what you might get. Why bother doing it if Praetorium bothers you that much? There are other ways to earn XP and tomestones.

Maybe it's a matter of timezones, but since the end of the tomestone event, I got a single Ultima Weapon and otherwise only Praetorum.
Wait... I thought this contained all MSQ dungeons and trials... what's even the point of having a roulette with just two dungeons and one trial?

The reason are the long cutscenes. Nobody should queue into a roulette and then be forced to watch an hour long cutscene marathon because suddenly it's Prae.

If you don't want to watch cutscenes don't queue for MSQ roulette.

Sometimes i queue for MSQ roulette before i plan to go to bed anyway, and when i get Prae i just leave the party.

Just to clarify Praetorium is about 25 minutes total for a run with about 17 minutes of cutscenes + 8 minutes of gameplay

Cutscene Min:Sec
Intro 1:40
Gaius & Cid 3:02
Concrete door 1:44
Nero intro 3:55
Nero outro 1:40
Gaius 4:36
Total 16:37

And with that said. Yeah... I wish there was some way to alleviate the drag this MSQ is and the frequency it comes up.

thats is about twice the lenght of a normal dungeon.

I find it hard to imagine that people are willingly queueing up for Praetorium outside of the moogle tomestone event.
Honestly I prefer it over Castrum, but these preferences are kind of a moot point because doing MSQ roulette is always a drag, and it always has been since they kept knuckling down on it from unskippable cutscenes to cutting the party size in half and gutting it overall.
You should put something like a TV show, anime series or a movie on the other monitor, Praetorium is easy enough to do without giving it much thought anyway.

But the OG post said it took 1 hour. And everyone agreed. So I was responding to that point.

Did you correct them as well? Oh just corrected me?

So you don't care about facts. You just want to keep complaining.

I don't want to indulge the idea that every Mentor is bad, but those who do couldn't ask for a singular post that more succinctly validates that notion.

It's Ultima Weapon 8 out of 10 times for me. I would gladly trade places with you if I could. Prae means I get to do stuff on my other monitor while Gaius is ranting. Ultima Weapon is 10 minutes of hitting a striking dummy.

Just do something else man. I multibox, and l am getting so many flax seeds in gw2 while the cutscene is going. I am getting rich. I don't mind these cutscenes at all

I hope they will consider these fights as instance dungeons for solo players rather than being run by a party.

You guys are getting Prae? I keep getting Ultimate Weapon. lol

Listen, i am one of the biggest advocates to improve this slog of a mission, even if that means to make it "Trust only", if people wanna watch cutscenes, go in with NPC's but don't expect others to sit through the same sequences over and over. I make an exception when the content is very new though.

Just delete MSQ Roulette. It hasn't had any reason to exist since 6.1 and unlike the other roulettes, you hardly ever end up with a first-timer.
