Enemy chitchats

I want certain enemies to have more life. The beastmen tribes are no dummies, they are very intelligent, and they socialize with each other.

So my suggestion to the dev team is to make them say something in the chat log when we engage, or aggro them. Just simple one or two words is fine.

What do you think? Do you agree? Add your suggestions below.

A few of the Garlean mobs say stuff when they die but its voice not chat.

Your thread means nothing! The developers shall...!

I'd like to see some random chitchat amongst NPC's and mobs. Makes the game more alive indeed.

I do like the idea generally, but I don't believe it should take up chat log, especially if you are fighting a large group of them.

Perhaps they can be more vocal instead of grunting. I would like however if more important enemies said things during fights, possibly in an attempt to intimidate you or distract you.

As long as it's tastefully done. It's borderline annoying and stupid in other MMOs lol.

Im going to have to disagree, these sound hilarious!

Some should be like the above for humor and others can be more serious. But I love the ones u came up with Ele.

With more interesting link mechanics, these can be nice.
E.g.
1) Beastmen blows whistle > pets come and link
2) Beastmen shouts in their language > Other beastmen come

I kill things, a lot.
So it's annoying to hear the generic sentence spammed every few minutes.
But, I do like this idea-if done right. Don't even need to invest voice acting. Maybe have common
conversations in say? Small things, like an Ixali mentioning that they're still waiting on their
shipment of pantsu. (I kid.)

MMOs with cheesy dialogue like that; I find it unattractive, unless it's done properly..
