Items where the 2nd dye channel needs an adjustment.
We were all excited for the 2nd dye channel, and for the most part it delivered. But, there are several items where the 2nd channel doesn't seem to make sense. Like the tiniest detail is what dyes, not a different aspect of the item.
Two of the biggest ones I've noticed are the Adventuring Sweater; the scarf doesn't dye, only a tiny tassel on the scarf. And the Tonberry body. A lot of people were waiting for the 2nd dye channel, so they could get the head and the tail to match colors. Sadly, that isn't the case, the strap of the lamp dyes. Not the worst thing, but people wanted to dye the tail so bad.
Are there any other pieces that we should as SE to try and change, to better suit the 2nd channel.
If we stay cool, everything will be fine!
Welp, this is my first time in here.
I know...there's so much potential on the glamour in FFXIV but most of the time players adjust and try to make the best with what game can offer.
However, I'm also aware that error/mistakes can occur if dev team is working hard to deliver things but will they going to bother now if they failed on something?
Does it worth try contact them for this "possible errors" and hope that I be somehow helpful to them to update in a patch?
To give an image to my disappointment:
Chest piece:- Snow Cotton Tunic of Scouting - Lvl90 ilvl 645 - 2 dyes channel opened - Dawntrail release.
There's a green part on this chest that is not linked with any dye (which I assume the right one to be applied in there is the Dye 1 slot).
It makes looks weird specially because doesn't follow the pallette parttern they apply to the undyeable parts.
At the moment, I hope they can improve and make 2 dye channels a better experience and not going curse this as a failure. Maybe just need hear player suggestions?
Pretty sure, this will give them even more opportunities to RESKIN same gear concepts.
Note: Yes, this "new" gear is the Ala Mhigan Tunic of Scouting - Lvl70 ilvl370 - 1 dye channel.
