predictions for dawntrail?

so where do you think the story is going?



i have a strange theory..
if you look at endwalker you can take its plot and condense it down in to a simple story that is perfectly explained by the lyrics to the song by dragon force "through the fire and the flames"

so I'm calling dawntrail now, its plot is gonna be the lyrics to "beast and the harlot" by "avenge sevenfold" :p

My prediction is that there shall be a need to gather tomestones and we can exchange those for better gear.

I also suspect that the world and our characters will look better all of the sudden, like as if in a graphics update.

Not a prediction, but id seriously be disappointed if there was no major character death in Dawntrail. Being jebaited over character deaths stopped being entertaining during stormblood and became freaking cringeworthy during Shadowbringers. You can’t have proper emotional stakes with the story if you already know nobody will die because this games writing department are too cowardly to take risks.

honestly from the trailer and such we saw story wise its the 3 candidates vs the 1 evil one who is using the solution 9 army to take over.

it will be nice if it doesn't end up this way but it really looks it.

I believe the whole find a new leader plotline is not the main story and mid-way through the entire plot swings in a complete different direction with Solution 9 etc

The meaningful parts of the game will be located in cyberpunk locations. The jungle in tural will just be another Ala mhigo; sidelined by a more detailed and fleshed out Solution 9 and those other cyberpunk locations.

I believe the smart brother that is also trying to be king is the real bad guy..the warmonger is his distraction so he can operate unnoticed and he is running solution 9 and basically in the mindset of join the advanced civilization or be crushed by it

thats an interesting point, last patch does talk about his obsession with technological marvels, and that may infer his involvement with the purple garlean like troops we saw in the game-play trailer

There will be cake.

The Machinations soundtrack will play every time the scions make plans (aka every other cutscene)

It's more of the same, which isn't bad for me.
The game can always be better, despite my issues with EW (Theirs a lot) I enjoy the game.
will likely not play healer though, just because i enjoyed astro but will likely not now.

oh story wise? more of the same, guess we will likely have no world ending threat though. I don't really know how i feel about scions having more screen time.
