Can anything be done about this?

I’m on Seraph on the Dynamis DC. In ward 4 of the lavender beds the first half is nearly taken over by 1 “FC” called SHELL they literally control so many Fc plots in the lavender beds and it’s really obvious that it’s very bot like. It’s making the FC housing on the server TERRIBLE. Something HAS to be done about this because it’s wrong on so many levels.

This 'phenomena' has existed since FC housing was introduced. It isn't botting, it isn't an exploit, it technically isn't even a loophole. Some are fine with it, some hate it. If you are one of the latter then all you can do is ask Square to change how the purchasing system works. But even then you'd probably have better luck talking to a brick wall.

That isn't such a bad thing, don't exaggerate

Not a bot, just a slum lord who feels entitled to buy up entire wards. It's enabled by the current mechanics of transferring FC ownership and the way that flags are when placed plot purchases are made on the characters who make them. Hopefully they're sticking with smalls for submarines but these people tend to buy up the larges and mediums when they get the opportunity.

Yeah, the ward I’m talking about plots 1-30, like 4 other fcs have a house the rest are just the one, and then the one has more sprinkled around 31-60. It sucks ������

Just because 1 ward in the 5 housing districts we currently have (with a 6th on the horizon) affects your experience, it doesn't necessarily mean it's terrible across the board. In fact, Dynamis offers plenty of free plots. Accusing an FC of botting without concrete evidence is unfair and unjustified. Personal opinions shouldn't dictate accusations; concrete proof is necessary before making such claims. Please don't project your own "struggles" onto the general player base with misguided assumptions.

I wouldn't know, I'm more of an edited content person. But I don't think that clip had anything to do with RMT, and had more to do with someone buying up multiple ward's worth of houses and telling unhoused people to "have a magical day."

You don't think it had anything to do with RMT, or you don't know? The problem with misinformation is that people who don't think and don't know keep perpetuating the spread of such misinformation. So which one are you?

I would appreciate it if you could explain your reasoning for posting that clip. I am sure you have a valid reason.

It sounds sus but I'm unsure whether it's actually breaking any rules. So I'd recommend gathering all the details (be specific and exhaustive) and reporting it with a ticket. If it's against the rules, then the GM's can do something about it. If it's not, they won't.

I posted the clip because I recognized you from it. Pretty surreal to see a person that had, for me, only existed as an abstract thing in a video I listened to while grocery shopping a year ago.

As for the question of if I believe you're engaging in RMT, or that that clip suggests that you are, no. I don't. I think you just want all of the houses and intend to seize as many as you possibly can.

Thank you for the concise response and recognizing my ambition.

You should decorate them, they are all empty and use the same default styles too. My FC is located in W4 in LB, so I know you have them for submarine farming, nothing more.
