Ok, I am one of these who complained a lot about a game @ release and I think I am not only one. Things I am really not used to or I dont like them at all.
I hate 3 things in current FF.
Terrible UIs
*full of lags, takes forever to sort your stuff with retainers and your inventory
*when you craft a recipe it is frustrating sometimes to find all your ingredients
*everything in UIs is too much lagged complicated, it could be easier (scroll bar is a tragedy)

Battle
*battle is boring imo, not dynamic (I know a lot of you likes it - not me)
*for example I loved FFXII's battle system it was dynamic.
*just one battle bar, thats not enough

Copy n Pasted worlds
*nothing to add, one corner looks excatly like the other one. World feels empty.

note* Even I dont play much and I still dont like current things in game - I stayed subbed just because I am FF fan and fan of SE (especially cuz Square's games were nice memories of my youth :P really FF7 was a hit) - simply I wanted to support this project :p

Compared to some other MMOs I've played recently, the combat in this game is far more interesting. Most classes can't just stand in one place and hit buttons to win, at least the melee classes have to move around during battle. The combo system makes things a little more interesting and they're going to re-introduce Battle Regimens and likely add more in 2.0.

I think this mentality is going to kill this game in the long run. Everyone is expecting it to be completely faithful to Final Fantasy tradition because Yoshi promised it, but I'm almost positive a number of things don't transition well to MMOs.
But who knows. -

Haha, this is excatly what I expected tbh. I just wanted to show what I like the most that is going to be revamped in few months, thats why I added > 2.0's states. Tho I dont play now I will be happy to play again with things that ll be new.
