Physick on SMN needs to be addressed

The spell is utterly useless on SMN. It needs to be re-worked or removed entirely from the kit.

If it were up to you, how would you fix it?

1. Would you boost the healing strength?
2. Make it a Regen?
3. Have it change based on your current summon?
4. Fold it into the shield ability and boost it a little bit?
5. Remove it altogether?

Leave it as is, it's the only interesting part of SMN's design

Give it the potency of a Vercure (the other rez mage, so we could be on even footing), or failing that, at least as strong as a Second Wind. Otherwise get rid of it…

My two cents: Take inspiration from Rydia: Remove Physic and Resurrection. The only "white magic" in sight should be associated with a summon.

It is kind of in the same boat as Sleep. It is pretty good for low level experiences, and for niche reasons. Just remove it from your hot bar honestly. Don't worry about it.

Thats the stupid thing man, Physick already has a higher potency than Vercure. It just scales to the wrong stat, STILL, for god only knows what reason. Actual garbage button rotting on the design floor and SE just keeps giving it to us.

Sleep is not niche use only. It can be crucial in many situations in deep dungeons. Just because it's not the standard content that doesn't mean it's niche.

I'm fascinated that they're giving SMN an actual heal but also leaving Physick just as bad as it currently is. Imagine if they fixed Physick....

Totally agree! It is currently a noob trap, no two ways about it. Even as early as level 50, if a Summoner is every pressing this in a group they are trolling or just playing the class objectively incorrectly because they don't know better. It is only there to trick new players and should be removed!

Yeah it seems logical to me that Arcanist has Physick... Arcanist splits into SCH and SMN… SCH Physick should be Mind, and is, but SMN Physick should go to Intelligence. I don’t know why that never happened! lol

Honestly I wouldn’t miss it if it were gone, because it doesn’t do anything, but if it’s there, I want it to be strong enough to be my “oopsy I messed up, keep myself alive til my poor healer notices” heal. lol

Maybe give swift-cast and a boost for physic after ressing someone?
