i tried redeeming the codes i got for the mount and the "sparkling citrus refreshment" item, but the mogstation keeps telling me the codes are invalid :/

Yeah, I redeemed the mount and got the code but I either get "The entered code is invalid." or "This function is temporarily unavailable. Please wait a few minutes before trying again."

Might have to wait for a mogstation update.

hopefully it's just a mogstation thing. honestly surprised how few points were needed for the two items they showcased during the LiveLetter.

Same here, got code, couldn't redeem, SE support verified that my code was valid, but it wasn't redeemable until DT launch. GG SE Marketing, ya goofed again. Maybe they will get a promo right in another 10+ years of trying.

Site is blocked from Canada. Can only access when I use a vpn with a US address. Another event where NA means US only?

That's weird because I don't remember hearing them say this during the Live Letter this morning and the screenshot I took says it went live at 12 EST and stays until July 14th so you'd think the code's would work now :(.

It's even worse. You only bought flavors that are worth 100 points.

Overdrive, Maui Blast, Frostbite, and Purple Thunder are all worth 200.
Frostbite is a Walmart exclusive, Purple Thunder is at Kroeger-owned stores (Fred Meyer, Circle K, etc).
Not sure about the other two.

It seems that Mountain Dew has updated the message that is sent with codes to now include the disclaimer that codes are not redeemable until June 28th, after DT Early Access.

i don't want to make a post about it so will type here , can eu get exclusive items for once? jp are getting the kfc emote back and this mountain dew (us only) thing is also happening but what about eu ? ....

if no one's mentioned it... read the terms of this..... "event"? Dont' go opening ALL the bottles for codes right away (and wasting it all).... it ends in 2025 u got time rofl

They said in that live letter that they have not about forgotten EU - and then US and JP both get collabs while EU ist still waiting for the Chocorpokkur mount...

But I don't even want an EU collab. They simply should get rid of regional collabs altogether.

You know it wouldn't be a FFxiv US brand promo without starting out as a hot disaster due to miscommunication.

Anyway, am I the only one who is a little frustrated with how this is done in a way that makes it *almost* completely inaccessible to diabetics and other people who can't drink soda for health reasons? The sugar free ones are 100pts so even if you can drink soda (just not sugary stuff), you'd be forced into buying double. Not everyone has folks in real life who'd be willing or able to drink the sodas for them.

The mount is pretty cheap and you can technically get the Taito and Puma stuff by buying it, but I really hope Squeenix considers things like this in the future. I'd love to see more Taito claw machine stuff accessible to the US as prizes for events, but without these accessibility concerns (and yes, more promos for you folks outside the US and Japan too).

You need six bottles at the minimum for the mount. Or three if you get the two hundred point ones.

For everyone that is upset that it's US only if you read the brief terms and conditions on the Bottles themselves, it says the gaming rewards are only open to the US and DC residents, so it's not really SE that set that rule it's Pepsico that did.

(I admit that I'm probably wrong about that and that the code themselves are only accepted on US Square Enix accounts).

That is for Mountain Dew Gaming giving out codes and selling prizes in general. Not specifically for the FFXIV event. The FFXIV part ends in July

It's cause they have more than just FFXIV rewards. There's Timthetatman stuff, among other prizes aisde from xiv. there's actual MD stuff on there too

Indeed, was just pointing it since Pepsico is the 'host' (and hence the setter of the T&C) of the platform for the rewards, thats at least a factor I'd say, probably why it's US only.

Real Question, is the mount Single Character. or AccWide?

If not AccWide, not really gonna bother thinking about the rest of the rewards.
