Excalibur Server

Is anyone else having issues today staying logged in? I was fine for an hour but for the past 2 hours I keep getting “Connection Lost”. Won’t let me stay on for more than a minute.

Balmung I've given up trying to log in after 4 90002 disconnects in 5 mins

Same on the Dynamis Datacenter (tried all 4 servers)

There was a lot of server issues on NA this morning. I did what I needed to do (check retainers) and then logged off, so I'm not sure how it is atm, but it was pretty bad earlier. I also heard EU was having issues. Going to Materia works but I know how ping can be on there.

I keep getting 90k'ed while trying to do Island stuff. 10/10 would get dc'ed every 15 seconds again.

Same for me, disconnected 4-5x. Is there a place other than official forums we can hear from SE on status/acknowledgement of issue?

It looks like they just put info on the Lodestone. Of course it's a DDoS attack.

I been also having issues on my main on primal and my dynamis alt staying connected.

All of lamia is down too, ive never seen limsa so empty

Same thing happening to me too, came to the forums to see if I was the only one. ;w;

It's been bad on NA, so I just traveled to Oceania. No issues so far!

yeah I was there, nothing going on there, but i did do some GC stuff and sent my squad out.

I just got 90K'd from Australia. Nowhere is safe. I guess I'll go knock out my chores ; ;

Select a character on the login screen, right click, visit another data center. You might need to go to the start menu and load up the destination data center, if you have never played a character on that data center.

This ddos is just a warmup compared to how Dawntrail launch will be. Better prepare ourselves for the queues. :)

From the character selection screen, right-click (Or press square if PS4/5) on your character and select "Visit Another Data Center." It seems all the DCs are getting hit though, so we're probably better off just waiting it out and touching grass :(

you are right just got kicked from ravana so im out till they get it fixed

my connection is fine so long as i stay out of roulettes, i've had about 8 trials wipe so far cause everyone keeps d/c outside of that though no problems on my end

iam having connection issues like everyone else iam just only experiencing them when i use the duty finder, in the open world iam not having any connection issues

I wanted just to check my Retainers. :-( But crashed already 5 times in 10 Minutes and the Loggin needs forever Queue is by 1000+

Did some kid get banned so servers being ddos'd or smth

Maybe it's from them adding those new EU servers and they messed up and now causing server problems. I just login to Materia datacenter with no problems looks like not affecting Materia. I found a fix I login to Materia then back to Crystal and let me login with no problems.

Yes. I guess, it's the real reason. I do not think, that it is a coincidence, that the "DDoS attacks" started one day before they connect a new data center for the EU. IMHO, it is more likely, that they have messed something up.

So the connection issues were actually a result of a networking misconfiguration, but in order to save face SE blames it on fictional DDoS attackers? Haha, damn that's a bold theory.
