I know no one else cares about this from the benchmark but.

Look at Meteor bringing his Chocobo on his adventure! I thought it was really sweet to see him wandering around with his legacy tattooed chocobo. So even if 1.0 players weren't represented in the survey results they are at least represented in the benchmark trailer via Meteor's chocobo. We haven't seen them since he called for it in the 2.0 trailer.

It was nice seeing the legacy chocobo. It's got such a nice look to it.

I'm so used to calling him Derplander that it took me a second to realize who you were talking about.

I get it. I also was in this boat since I think it was until Shadowbringers that I feel the name change started to catch on for NA.

He's always Derplander, forever.

though I do find Meteor Survivor a bit pretentious.

Just Meteor is fine(Hell you can call him Meteor John Fantasy to balance the pretensions with comedy)

on topic, yeah, noticed the legacy bo on the trailer after multiple times.

How they layed down multiple times in the trailer. The boat, and soon after it was on the ground.

It honestly just shows how deep they may go with animations.

Making things seem so personal, alive.

I think meteor is the best because of all the names he gets in English (so not Hiroshi) it’s the only one that actually could realistically be a name

I like naming characters that could actually be names which like for example before the FEMC was revealed as kotone I always prefers to call her hamuko over FEMC

John Fantasy is my favorite Final Fantasy

It's not though. "Meteor" isn't a forename and "Survivor" isn't a surname. It's one name, "Meteor Survivor". Calling him "Meteor" is like calling Tall Mountain "Tall". If anything, they should be "Survivor" and "Mountain".

He'll always be Derplander, though.
