What Weapons- Not Jobs- Do You Want in the Future?

Howdy!

Simple question- a lot of people talk about jobs they want, and that is great. But I am curious what weapons would you like? We have tons of swords, but one axe and one lance. We have a couple of guns (one that is a gun and a sword!), tomes, staffs, a deck of cards, and more.

Personally I want some magitek. Let me have a robot someway somehow.

Alternatively, a good ol' ball and chain (think more anime- a la Rem from Re: Zero) that might be good at AOE.

A class that uses 2H weapons for DPS would also be fun- Greatsword, Oni Clubs, whatever.

Really just curious what weapons other people would like. There are so many interesting types in history, in media, in literature, etc.

Warhammers
Quarterstaff
Gunshield for ranged tank

Warhammers.
One handed/Dual Wield axe.
Staff (Not magical).
Flails.
Maces.

There are so many weapons out there that aren't swords.

double shield user
more bludgeoning weapons (hammers, maces, clubs)
bo staff user
totem user
whip user
sickle user
a magic job that uses a lantern
a magic job that uses an enchanted cape/cloak
a job that uses an arsenal of spectral weapons

Puppet/Marionette/Mammet

Flowers. Like Pisces Saint in Saint Seiya!

Big hammer as a DPS.

Lances but with a shield (dragoon already has a few lances).
Spear and shield (same thing)
Halberds
Saber in the main and pistol in the off-hand

And something more out there, a cannon. No, not just a big MCH gun, setting down an actual cannon.

I'd go with weapons with the least overlapping with the ones we have right now (so not another type of sword).

- Whip and its variations (chain whip, etc)
- 1 hand mace + bell (Geomancer weapon likely)
- Puppet/doll (Lulu from FFX for the next magical dps job 67 expansions from now)

Whips, Section Staff that can become a solid staff, and Mech for a weapon.

Actual daggers since NIN weapons are huge and ugly :P

Quarterstaff, Hammer, Crossbow, scepter/wand (technically exists but only for ARR WHM and BLM), Sword/Dagger + Pistol (corsair!)

Only dps jobs. I think a spear and shield themed dps with a provoke (Long cooldown) could be cool. Think Halone, but smoller.

Mixing pot

Gaint needle, (to inject ourselfs with dna from types of creatures for its rotation) like ninja but you get beastkin, Plantkin,Scalekin buttons and you have to mix the forumula correctly to get a new form kinda thing

unarmed with nothing but a glove with a orb that generates random weapons based on the attack

Any type of item mixing aparatus, preferably a magitek gun similar to Chemist from FFX-2
