Favourite monster thread

Do any of you have a favourite monster? For me it's the frilled basilisks and piestes. One of them even has the same name as my wol "sugar" and these little guys can be best admired in am areng or northern thanalan. I really would love a mount of this monster one day because i think theyre just the cutest little things. For now the cavalry drake gets me by

Another monster I would request for a mount is the hydra. It would make an awesome 8 seater

Asipatra, the insect dragon from a Fate in Central Shroud. Originally a model from FF12 I think.

Would love to have it as a mount.

Maybe he's not classified as a monster but this is the first guy that came to mind. I remember my jaw dropping when he first showed up, he's so cool looking and I love his aesthetic.

A very close second and my first choice for a mount request are the Feral Crocs. I always thought it was awesome how their mouths open up, it's the kind of thing I love to see in monster designs.

Shnurbles/furbles.... so what if they're a ball of fur with human eyes and a nose? They're still cute! :D

I think my favorite would have to be Peerifool, the Mandragora with a fork stuck in their head from Bozja.

There's already a mount for Peerifool! But there is another creature I would love to see a mount for:

This guy, takes me back to when I was 12. Just like the Phoenix from the rising, if this guy were a mount we simply transform into him rather than have him carry us around or something

Griffins.

I know, it's totally unoriginal, but never mind. My all times favorites. I'd kill for the introduction of a mechanic that lets them fight alongside us like chocobos.

YES, the white one is sooo beautiful. I would love to have a blue version as well, since the model already exists.

(Question: is it "griffons" or "griffins" in English? I can find both on the net).

There's allways multiple spelling but usually Griffin. Mine was a typo
