I would like to suggest the possibility of putting Phoenix Down in 2.0. I think this is something that is really needed in this game. The reason is for me at least is that it is getting abit annoying when partying and say fighting someone like Garuda only to have everyone survive except the WHM and being reduced to standing around wiping because no one can raise them.
I use Garuda as an example because it's imo the toughest fight yet but I don't see the point in having any future fights or current setup that way and why everyone has to wipe just because a player happens to die while everyone is almost at full health. Granted obviously raise is a big part of the Conj/WHM job that is very important and I know some will make the argument that it will ruin that class.
However I think being able to use one as a last ditch effort type thing could make some fights alot more interesting and it obviously wouldn't be something you could just spam as it really would make that healers class a little less useful. Even if it means putting a 5 minute cooldown or something on the player that gets it and maybe making them a little more pricey than usual so they aren't something you could stack up on so easily and would think twice about using them only in the worst case scenarios could allow a nice strategy to a fight.
This wouldn't just be for WHM it could be anyone even if the WHM can't get to the downed person or some sort of scenario like this. It could also bring a little more risk taking if you know you have that one last option if something does screw up.

At present, players would have to purchase the Company Tonic for 200 seals to revive a player.
Although it may not be common place, I highly recommend everyone carry one even the White Mage.
Having an alchemic product such as a tuft of Phoenix Down would also be nice, even if it had 5 minute cooldown. -

I would imagine that if SE did release an alchemic synth version of the revive medicine it would work in the same manner as the "flawless" synths. They would most likely have it where it's non-stackable and the NQ version works in the same manner as the cheaper revive tonic while the the HQ version would work in the same manner as the 200 GC tonic. It would most likely require a material similar to the vampire plant and the cooldown might be something like 15-30 mins.

Hmm that is good to know I didn't think that those could revive either. Still I think just having potions would still be beneficial and not having to use seals for everything I personally would prefer.
