gear that levels with us like "heirloom" gear from WoW?

if it's not an issue for you pls just ignore me idc if i disappear into obscurity i just wanted to +1 to idea that exists in other games bc i genuinely think it's a good feature

the suggestion is to allow higher level players to use their main/higher lvl job, which they tend to do anyway, to acquire gear that lasts longer than ~10 levels so you don't have to do the same-same stop and and gear up again and again for every alt job you're leveling at different periods of time because of the timesink and inventory space that it uses. the suggestion is not to allow new players to acquire this gear that simplifies the gearing process or whatever; you could lock it behind 2k tomestones of anything *per piece*, or lock it behind raid or extreme trial totems/tokens, or even use criterion dungeons to give tokens that you can use to buy the gear if you want, i really don't care how the acquisition is done, just that it would be nice for it to be an option for people who have been through the process multiple times and are tired of it.

- the kind of tech already exists through the expansion bonus earrings like menphina's earrings, just edit it a little bit to remove the exp buff and maybe add (not min or BiS level, maybe in the middle) ilvl scaling instead.

- the gear would not last all the way to the current level cap, that is the point of this kind of gear to *not* replace normal gear progression with your main job. it is just for leveling alt jobs so that you can cut all the nuisance of alt job leveling. the level cap of the scaling gear could end at the previous expansion's level cap or the expansion *before*, so when we're lvl 100 the gear only scales up to 80. honestly maybe even 70.

- i do not want a new set of cool looking gear for it, you could give it to me through the weathered slops and i'd be happy

the reason i ask is because i don't constantly play, i take break and random times, sometimes i don't want to spend ~hr just to acquire gear to level for about 10 levels before i have to ditch them (due to inv space and having classes at different levels taking up armoury space, so maybe there's no room to keep the gear in lieu of playing several other aspects of the game than just leveling alt jobs when the mood strikes, especially if you want to craft your own gear and gear for friends due to the amount of space crafting materials take up alongside eeeeverything else you keep for whatever reason [esPECIALly if you're working on the crafting/gathering relic(?) tools]).

and it wouldn't even be one set for all jobs so there's still significant effort into acquiring the gear; one for tanks, one for healers, probably two for dps bc we put them into different classifications.


this is just an anecdote after not playing for months and just wanting to do leveling stuff, i don't need advice on gearing bc i know what options there are, it's just frustrating when my other alt job gear is taking up a lot of space too so i can't just hold onto the highest lvl stuff until they can use it too if i'm avoiding the lowest lvl classes because i don't *enjoy* them but *do want* to level them eventually. the point is "let's so some roulettes to level x" ends up being "oh, i can't. how long is it gonna take me to be able to? ..oh boy fun"

i wanted to play ffxiv today with my friend after we've taken a long break and we leveled a few times yesterday but our gear for some classes is pretty behind; he started to craft newer armor for himself because (1: just buying the gear costs a lot of gil that isn't worth spending for only 10 levels, and 2: whether tomes were capped or not you probably need more than 2k tomes for a mostly full set, and some people don't come back to the game after a break with full tomestones and that would mean having to run stuff just to level again) we had been leveling crafting before we paused, but like

crafting is also so convoluted with materials all over the place that we can't even hold in an independent inventory solely for itself that grabbing materials to try and calculate how many you need and making sure you don't accidentally craft too many of the thing because you're doing 40 steps for a single piece of armor and then you run out of inventory space both for the crafting materials and bc of the armor sets bc you probably have a couple sets for the same category of gear because jobs are at diff levels so you have to sell the old armors to make room for other sets even though you'll need it later for other classes ksjdasd

he got frustrated because "i just wanted to play" but then had to just do all this prep and i felt really bad for even asking if he wants to play at all bc of how much time had to be wasted for a whole 10, maybe 15 if we push it, levels

so, it'd be. really nice. if all of that doesn't have to be a thing.
it'd be gatekept gear by content access and level of the main job. why not have something like heirloom armor for leveling alt jobs so that we don't have to gear them every 10-20 levels with different sets? it would alleviate a significant bit of of inventory management and space. that's pretty much it.

to be clear, i don't want the bonus exp on the armor sets, literally just the stats and ilvl that moves up and down with our level (to a certain point, not to cap, for lower levels, NOT past lvl 70 or 80), and NOT for ppl leveling their first job, your first job is easy experience, it's doing it 10+ times again after that's kinda annoying, esp if you wanna do literally everything for once

that would hurt the focus on roulettes, and that cannot be tolerated. (can you tell i'm tired of roulettes?)

SE are against this concept. They were content to make this the case for the Aetheryte earrings, Bozjan earrings and Menphina's earrings that do it, but stated that they wouldn't do it for all gear. Obviously because it would destroy the concept of gear progression and acquiring gear.

You could buy normal quality from the relevant city state vendor, or high quality from the market board.

Ul'dah, Limsa or Gridania up to level 49.
Ishgard up to level 60.
Kugane up to level 70.
Crystarium up to level 80.

Could delete them and buy again later. Easy to do so. Or you could store them in the 140 slot inventory, the 70 slot Chocobo Saddle bag, one of your two 175 slot retainers, or your 800 slot Glamour Chest, or use each of your retainers' 20 sale slots and sell them for the gil cap so that nobody buys them.

Could also spend spare tomestones on gear at level 50, 60, 70 and 80 respectively. It is what a lot of people do once they get jobs to level 50.

the problem with just buying stuff over and over again is all the gil it costs, esp at higher levels even the normal gear gets pretty expensive to just keep buying whenever you need it
we're not rolling in gil enough for that just yet to keep buying and dumping and buying which is why this is a frustrating problem lol that and the normal gear blehh
tomestones sure but it's still kinda :( you know....just...a lot of resources and time spent just so you can pick up where you left off and start leveling again only for so long before having to do it all over again, and thats just for the one alt job
the point is it'd be nice to not have to spent ~2hrs just to get a set of gear to level one job for the next 5-10 levels during the time of playing until you take a break for the next time and come back feeling frazzled again because oh no i gotta do all that nonsense for gear that i forgot what i was planning for the next 10 lvls and do i have mats for the next what do i have to go fstm again

Personally I get plenty of tomestones and gil from doing roulettes, which effectively makes it pay for itself.

you can always unsyc low lvl dungeons for gear with a max lvl job its pretty fast getting gear lvl 70 or lower.

to be honest i don't have much suggestions to help with this problem as i have never had a problem getting gear as i lvled and if its an alt you should be getting gear just fine in the dungeons.

when it comes to lvling gear that is synced to your lvl but is stated to max lvl i mean sure why not i dont personally have much care but it would hurt the normal gear and shred it up so as previously stated i doubt we will be seeing that implemented anytime soon.

Might upset people but I'll say it. The MSQ gears your main job, and that's a massive freebie. From what people say about other MMOs, the fact that you can alt job on the same character is already a massive benefit. You can't really expect them to hold your hand and gear up every single job for you.

You'll have to invest time or money to progress. Least painful/cheapest pways are dungeon/roulette spam for gear and tomes. Or get into an FC and ask someone to help make you gear but they might ask for you to buy mats first.

I'd welcome more scaling gear if it means not getting horribly undergeared players in MSQ dungeons/trials.

There are item level gates, but not nearly as often as there should be and it still doesn't exclude people from doing things like updating all of their gear except for their weapon which is the biggest influence.

Except in ARR. Everything under level 50 doesn't have an item level requirement.

There probably wouldn't be nearly as many horror stories about AV if it was item level gated so you couldn't get a tank in there with level 1 gear.

We could also remedy the weapon bit by rearranging tome costs. Make weapons the first thing people get to buy, rather than incentivizing new players to buy all of the right slot items because they're cheaper and can bring their ilevel up quickly.

i dont see it as hand-holding if you've already leveled through MSQ and are at lvl 90 with at least one job and use that job to gather gear that can scale to lower levels for your alt jobs :(? all i'm asking is grace enough to save inventory space in the armory (and *time*)..with more and more levels, it just means more gear to shuffle through and take space as not only jobs but levels are added .. maybe i didn't make it clear this is with intent to only go to a certain extent. maybe to level 70, 80 when the cap is 100, idfc, just a bone for the rest of the bs

Just focus on leveling classes by role and when you reach a certain threshold of 10 levels from previous gear tier, change to a new class in a particular role. Gearing problems solved.

There are more than enough spaces in your armoury to have one piece of gear for every class, assuming that despite classes sharing gear you have different classes at different levels. This will still be the case in 7.0 even with two new DPS jobs, and we'll probably get more space added regardless.

My main character is an omni, I've never struggled with this.

If you think you might use the gear later on, put it in your saddlebag so you don't accidentally turn it in for GC seals. Do your daily MSQ roulettes to build up your tome stash and prep gear for whatever you want in the future.

It's genuinely not that bad. If you want to level up alt jobs, then this is what's expected. I'm all for QoL but there's a point where you just stop and wonder if people want to play games or not.

Not really needed IMO. What I do is collect every set from the leveling duties when an expansion drops. The formula of late basically amounts to you being able to quickly get all the pieces for your main as you level it since you get 1 unobtained piece for your job at the end. And also the MSQ for the leveling process of the expansion tends to hand out entire sets of coffers for craftable gear as quest rewards. If you gear out everything to be max ilvl or close to it before the expansion comes out you can basically skip getting gear from the leveling dungeons until you reach the later half because they tend to lag behind in ilvl until you hit the halfway mark 55,65,75,85, so if the trend continues 95 in DT.

well, the intent is for lower level alt jobs that are all over the place
i level up my alt jobs very randomly at diff times, when an expansion drops i only can be bothered to level one or two to the cap, at that point trying to hold onto all this gear for when i *do* level other jobs clutters up fast if i were to do that

for people whose jobs are all about the same point or capped currently, that's fine, but not everyone who intends to eventually level everything -has- everything leveled tot where that's fine
i have 80s, 70s, 50s, 30s, btwn both hand/land and war classes, it's a lot of clutter
luckily my crafters/gatherers are all 70 or 80 min so they can share gear pretty ok but the other stuff is just skdfnjgklsdg

Yet in one of your earlier posts you said you didn't want to grind tomes, you don't have gil to keep rebuying gear and probably don't want to farm that either. So how exactly do you plan to get this gear, if it were added? It would definitely not be free.

It does affect me. You're asking for dev time to be used to create this. SE devs already struggle with a lot, so I can't imagine them trying to create a set of omni gear that molds to whatever level you're at.

I'm genuinely supportive of a lot of quality of life updates, but again, there's a point where you have to stop and tell someone that they need to figure things out themselves. You're asking for a big update because you can't be bothered to manage your gear. We've gotten so many QoL regarding gear already, and I'd much rather SE focuses their attention elsewhere.

no, that was misinterpreted about tomestone gear. I'd be MORE than happy to farm tomestones for gear that i can keep using for a role (or one type of btwn physical and magic dps) for levels 1-70, maybe 80, even when the cap is 100. thats EXACTLY what i'd like. that's basically what I'm asking for. id still be pleased as peach if each piece of said scaling gear cost 2k tomestones. that is not what i said lol or mwant to imply. i am 100% on board WORKING for the gear that could do this, and not even asking for its function to persist past the 2nd to last expansion.

however farming tomes for gear that i'd only use maybe 5 to 10 lvls when my alt jobs are all over the place in lvls is extremely time consuming and uses a lot of space when all i wanna do is swap gear and jump back into leveling without having tonstop playing to inventory manage and run dungeons or craft for hours for *a single class* at a time that i'll have to throw away when I'm done with it because keeping it for the next job takes too much space

i really doubt it takes that much, they could take the exp earrings and slap them on the brand-new adventurer gear you get from the hall of novice but take off the exp buff and maybe add item level scaling to a maximum of lvl 70-80 *just like the earrings*

they alrdy have the mechanic for it bc of the earrings we have, i really doubt it'd be that difficult or time consuming in dev time

i dont consider that a big update but honestly what do i know. I am merely asking for a consideration and not even asking for it right now, i'd even be fine for one piece per expansion

That to me just sounds like a lack of planning or efficiency.

It's also entirely easily done at low levels and on alts too. It's just a matter of making use of your retainer storage. This coming from personal experience. What I generally did was use one to store armor pieces and the other held weapons/accessories. I was doing this back before glamour plates existed. As it stands now you should be able to store all your glamour items in the glamour dresser in an inn room along with a number of pre order, quest reward, seasonal event, deluxe edition, and various promo items that you can place in the armoire.

that would prob be fine also if you werent also leveling crafters and gatherers and holding materials for planning to craft glamour amd other collectibles but since thats what im doing a lot of my retainer space is held hostage by materials and other things aha so it's not really any help in this situation, plus holding onto maps and the unique materials for upgrading your craft/gatherer tools, very space-consiming when you're doing other things too

but really half the issue isnt even just the inv space, it's also just having to stop and spend significsnt time to acquire new gear that when you lvl too quickly doesn't last as long as the time spent investing feels good for (unless you just buy it, which adds up v quickly in that case), that's generally why i'm asking for leveling gear that can last more than 5-10 lvls

Are you doing the Hall of the X instances? That gives Brand New gear that will help at the lower levels for a bit. And from 1 to 50, especially on a server with Road to 80 like Marilith, you can get away with trading up your gear every 10 levels or so. So if you're worrying about staying up with every single level, you're really okay not to. Those levels go by pretty fast. You can get to 30 just with your hunt log. You can get poetics with your higher level classes and bank the Augmented Ironworks for the role you're working on to use once they get to 50. Plain old vendor gear and gear from dungeons can work to fill in spots as needed if you're feeling underpowered. There's really no need to feel held hostage by needing to craft upgrades every single level.

It would not be a huge problem to have a full set of scaling gear for each role that stops scaling once it reaches the previous expansion cap, especially if its IL falls 100 short of the tomestone sets like the Aetheryte Earring (290/400) and Menphina's Earring (430/530) do. The economic relevance of anything prior to the previous expansion cap is incredibly low as far as actual leveling use is concerned because of how easy it is to gear up with tomestones and unsyncked Savage raids for at least the first few cap levels; and people can still buy old crafted gear or run old duties if they want specific pieces for glamour. They'd still need to upgrade their gear for the previous expansion cap (because the scaling gear would be too low to do anything that's from the current expansion--290 isn't even enough for the Lv71 dungeon, and 430 isn't enough for the Lv81 dungeon, so it's fair to assume a full set of scaling IL 560 gear won't be enough for the Lv91 dungeon.

It is even less of a problem if you have to get one job of that role to the current expansion cap in order to unlock its role scaling gear, as all it would be, in effect, is a streamlining of the inventory management involved in leveling a first job of each role from 15 to 100 and holding on to their old gear to use on the other jobs of the same role later, an inventory management ritual that isn't that useful or meaningful of a limitation to begin with.

tl;dr: it would be okay for roles you already have one Lv100 job in to have scaling IL560 gear that stops at Lv90.

I level up my alt jobs mainly through Duty Support and Trusts. Never had an issue with gear. The only time I have to go purchase gear is when transitioning from one expansion to the next, and usually I've gotten enough Tomestones of Poetics accumulated to purchase at least several gear pieces at that time.

Normal Quality gear kind of loses all relevance after 49 though... As the level 50 Augmented Ironworks tomestone gear can actually still be slightly better than NQ level 58 gear when it comes to stats. And same repeats with the Augmented Shire gear from 60 to NQ SB armors...

You do get one set of HQ gear from the MSQ as you go, but further sets you need to craft yourself or buy off of the Market if anyone even is selling.

Actually wouldn't mind crafted heirloom gear. Perhaps released late in an expansion that covers the previous 10 levels up to near the current raid release, once it's even older add the ability to upgrade it for 20 or 30 level brackets (upgrade taking substantive material / cost).

This way it doesn't remove the crafted opportunity nor replace gear abnormally.

Crafted gear, that is meant to be raid comparable, could just do this by default. Adds value to the gear and these raid gears do have an upgrade system already.

Id avoid taking out the crafted though as that would be a big hit.

The using current system gear is really resource efficient but I might suggest an alternative idea:

Anti-Artifact gear, so we have artifact gear which has been really consistent between each expansion. Crafters get to create gear that still has the theme of the job in mind (job specific) but takes the theme in a new direction. For example instead of danty paladin you get war crusader, extremely bulky dreadnaught like armor with gothic holy like art style. White mage gets battle cleric like gear, etc. These antifact gear sync up to the level they're created for, and are not easy to make.

People keep saying no on the basis that it's free or seems like too much of a handout. How is it free when you play the game to level it? How does any of this matter to begin with? It just seems like a time saving measure. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it just sounds like OP is asking for a system where you get certain leveling gear, and it levels with you so that you don't have to constantly be worrying about gear as you progress through the early levels, which can be extremely fast especially if you're on a boosted server.
To those of you saying this seems too easy or too free, do you find some exciting, engaging challenge in walking to a vendor NPC to buy gear every X amount of levels? It's like... a minor inconvenience that adds nothing. Why not remove that step? Genuinely I don't see the harm in OP's suggestion at all. It would even stop folks from getting randoms who are way undergeared, because now they have this gear that keeps pace with them while they're speeding through ARR.

None of the critics in this thread make sense to me. It's like saying "we should remove repairing because it doesn't add anything to the game except a minor annoyance to deal with every dozen or so roulettes" and people saying "uhmmm dont you wanna play the game?? clicking your gear and hitting repair is integral!" like, are you guys okay? You know even with OP's QoL suggestion, you'd still be free to just buy crappy vendor gear or overpriced marketboard crap or tome gear if you wanted, right? Like, if it's genuinely enjoyable to you to waste time/currency on stuff you're gonna use for an hour and then throw away, you'd still have that option. Everyone else would just be free of it, which would be a good thing because it sucks.

tomestones sure but it's still kinda :( you know....just...resources and time spent just so you can pick up where you left off and start leveling again
the point is it'd be nice to not have to spent ~2hrs just to get a set of gear to level one job for the next 5-10 levels during the time of playing until you take a break for the next time and come back feeling frazzled again because oh no i gotta do all that nonsense for gear that i forgot how or where or what again

Also retainers do occasionally bring home the 50, 60, 70 etc tomestone gear so that is another way to get it cheap

Because it prevents you having to progress your gear as you level.

For context, as you level up, your stats get weaker (diluted). So you need more of a given stat in order to reach the breakpoints.

This change was made in one of the 1.x patches that you can read at https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...l=1#post361386

"The impact of attributes will decrease as players rise in level; however, the benefits granted by gear will be increased."

In other words, there was no point in improving your gear as you increased in level and they changed it so that gear matters.

So the potential of this is to reverse course to how things worked in 1.0, which is something they want to stay far away from.

Keep your crafters on your level (or higher) and craft your own gear. That is what I did until I started massively outleveling the content I was doing then I just got the 50, 60, 70, 80 sets. Seriously it doesn't matter if you are doing 55 content when you are 65 and in 60 gear. In fact most of the time I hit 70+ before I hit 60 content. You do not need the best of the best to do leveling content with how fast we outlevel the content. Tomestone gear every 10 levels is not that time consuming to do. You will likely have collected it just from roulettes.

yeah, would be nice to have an aetheryte ring like item for all slots that works til you reach the level threshold, then it's back to normal, would help leveling for new players tremendously, also i would keep "the road to" buff permanently too without the need to make a character on an specific data center, and then after you reach the level threshold the buff gets removed (obviously for that class that reached it)

but then again, with a lot of things with this game, there are plenty of things they could do to improve, but then it would mean losing money from the mogstation. so i don't think they'll ever do anything meaningful, but shit, the level cap is already 100, it's a damn pain to level up a class to be honest.

There's also the fact you get a free piece of a set gear per leveling dungeon, and I believe they expanded upon it onto HW and Stormblood nowadays.
So when you need a new equipment just run the same dungeon, as completing it guarantees giving you one of them you do not have yet, including accessories and weapons.

It's actually all leveling dungeons. The only ones that don't are the 50, 60, 70, 80, & 90 capstone dungeons.

just play the game to play the game. it's not going anywhere.

You people buy leveling gear? All real EXP comes from instances like Deep Dungeons and Roulettes anyway; so there's no point when you can just buy out all the gear from the expansion tomestone vendor and be done with it for the entire level tier.

I never buy any gear save for tome gear and crafted gear when a new tier is released. When I level up a lowbie job I just run an appropriate level dungeon unsynched on a high level job and open all the chests.

Lots of cherry-picking here.

It has nothing to do with enjoyment and everything to do with the fact that it's an easy to deal with first world problem. The bar is just so low, and you're asking us to lower it into the ground at this point. There's QoL and then there's "I don't want to think anymore, can the game please do X by itself."

While it's true it would solve the issue of new players in ARR running around in dungeons in extremely underleveled gear, it would also likely teach those players to not care about their gear in general. You'd immediately regret it in endgame dungeons when you run into players barely meeting ilevel requirements and only doing so with the bare minimum because their training wheel gear that they used for the first two thirds of the game doesn't work there.

Like it or not, but this is a part of the game. It's not engaging, but it's something you deal with and it's not exactly complicated.

it's a nuisance and feels like a waste of time when you've already done this gear shuffle several times and that stupid gear you had to stop playing to get does not last long enough for it to be worth the time and effort. i don't get the problem with merely asking for a consideration. they have earrings that scale. the base coding exists. it can be literal potato sack with that coding slapped on, i'd wear it. i'm not asking for new gear models. i'm asking to cut down the amt of times i have to stop what i'm doing to spend upwards of an hour or more to farm new gear just to continue leveling that one class until i move onto the next, especially if doing so with a friend or friends (one who may be an actual newb and would benefit from a friend handing them gear every so often so they don't frustrate themselves and others, while being guided on how to play) so they can get the gear too, so that i don't have to dump it and re-acquire it. i am not playing just by myself, i am playing with friends who want me to craft for them, too; materials take up a lot of space. gear sets at different level points bc you don't level everything at the same time takes up a lot of space. a lot of other types of items take up space. the space, is struggling. this is why i am asking for a QoL feature that exists and works wonderfully in other games and causes NO problems i've ever been aware of because the method to obtain it is reserved to people who already know the game enough to not be left confused af if they do it.

I also know the reverse is true, but that depends on other ppl. generally you shouldin life be encouraged to speak up bc if one person doesnt know the answer it's likely someone else doesn't either and is afraid to ask. theres no reason to discourage ideas. there's a lot of love this game needs, certain aspects are still VERY dated. but i love this game, hence asking for what i think would honestly alleviate very dull parts of the game for ppl who've done it over and over and over. it's not fun. you're not learning anything, just taking longer to do what you originally wanted to do by a considerable amount of time. hence, it's a nuisance, hencex2, alleviating the problem for people who would have access to the method to doing so is a quality of life feature, just like moving the beast tribe currencies to a tab of its own was a nuisance and inventory space-related problem that benefitted from a quality of life change.

i'm aight if the dev team says no. but players could seriously chill with jumping to tell each other no so adamantly just bc it's not a personal problem for them with a tone that says "you're wrong bc not my problem and you should feel bad for asking". you're not the one making adjustments to the game, let people give their ideas. if it's not something they want to do, it's not something they want to do. but you seriously do not have to be so stubbornly against ideas just because it's not your idea of QoL. there's also the fact that just because it was once not something they wanted to do, doesn't mean it'll remain that way; i don't remember specifically, but there have been instances of "no" but when enough players ask it becomes "okay, i understand why your point of view and will consider it" to "i've done it, how do you like it?"

another big QoL feature i'd love is if dyes were dumped into the armoury/glamour dresser space in a similar manner to beast tribe currency instead of taking up precious inventory space. do you oppose that, too? is it not big enough to suggest consideration? sorry, i'm frustrated that you seem to think "op is asking for free sht that would ruin the game because newbies wouldn't know what to do if they used it too" idea when that is NOT what i'm asking for.

and. imo. rather than posting in threads you disagree with, it'd be much more worth the time and effort to ignore that thread and post in ones with ideas you DO agree with so that they remain visible and it looks more like a suggestion people actually widely like and want. go dig up suggestions you do want and keep asking. there's a lot we still need. and looking at the state of our forums, it's something that would probably help them in future direction to be able to see what ppl actually want. the thumbs-up reaction helps on posts you agree with/like in threads that remain visible also

I'm more confused how I've managed to level 4 characters through all of the game and never had to craft/buy a single piece of gear. Are you not drowning in poetics to the point that they're just collecting dust in your bag now? Like, yeah I'd be losing my mind a bit too if I was going about it that way. As much as you might dislike the tome grind, this gear you're asking for wouldn't be implemented for months off from now if not the next expansion after DT. Probably should figure out an alternative in the meantime to try to progress anyway unless you plan to take an extended break until then.

Pick class -> do roulettes -> exchange poetics-> every 10 levels go up tome tier

If you really want to do it the most braindead/low-effort way possible, just go unlock the combat beast tribes for each expansion and level your classes. Ilvl is irrelevant there and you can accept the quests on your leveling class and do them on your main.

Idk what to tell you about having everything at a bunch of different levels but probably should get everything on the low end to the same point and then level up from there while sharing gear and collecting your higher level classes as you go on.
