So which old content i can do unsync?

So apparently I can only do some group content unsynced.
Not a fan of this idea.
When I am playing wow I can do the hardest raids solo in a given expansion if I have enough DPS and game mechanics allow it.
So why i can't do the ultimate raids unsynced.
Please do not give me the reason about challenge etc.
When i play my rgps i want to feel powerful and unsync gives me that feel.
That i hated sync when it was introduced in rpg genre.

That's exactly the reason you can't do Ultimates unsyncked.

I mean, mechanically i doubt youd be able to solo an ultimate anyway if they did allow it. I havent looked at UCoB in a couple years, but i half remember enough madness going on that it doesnt seem feasible. But yeah, the if the devs want an "Ultimate" difficulty duty to always remain at least a little hard i cant say that i disagree with them. If you want a solo challenge, go after some extreme trials and savage raids.

The way the game and those fights in particular is designed literally wouldn't allow you to do so. EX and Savage is fair game, but ultimate will always be tuned and designed around a group of people needing to be there and be in the zone.

Challenge is the sole and entire reason the ultimate raids even exist. A central part of the design of the Ultimates is that they are very tightly synced, making it impossible to outgear them.
You don't have to like that, but then you don't have to do Ultimates either.

Sorry but it is bs. All raid content is designed to be done in groups. With that reasoning, all raid content shouldn't be allowed. Since classes are reworked every expansion it doesn't really matter since some classes may be weaker or stronger at max level required by given ultimate. If you cannot balance it properly, i do not the reason why lock behind a wall.

Technically, mythic in wow is designed the same way but blizzard allows you to solo it. I am against technical barriers like this.

They are relevant the expansion/patch that were design for. Later they are irrelevant. Mythic in wow is the same but they give you special achievement when content is relevant. In the later expansions you cannot get that achievement so i do not see it being about challenge.

You're asking that the biggest flexes in the game to be cheesable. Its bad enough that people can buy clears. So hard no on that idea.

Your argument that high end content becomes irrelevant after the expansion is highly debatable, and outright fantasy where ultimates are concerned. SE treats them as the top tier of content, regardless of age. Hence why they are MINE by default. PotD is pretty old now, but the Necromanacer title is still special and people still react to players getting it with a sense of respect. Just because something is old does not mean it shouldn't matter.


Lastly, "WoW this, WoW that". This isnt WoW, it has its own identity and ideas about how content should be treat.

Considering Final Fantasy is a household name and casual brand in its native Japan, and largely has a causal fanbase in the west, this games audience is far more casual than WoW's, therefore its important that the few trials that are "elite" tier are kept that way.

Not everything needs to be like how WoW does it. Ultimate is and will remain a challenge and you can throw a temper tantrum all you want, that does not change that FFXIV has a group of devs with enough spine saying "nope, we are not doing this shit".

You can attempt to unsync everything else in the game. Not Ultimate. They have gone and said that they will not let that ever happen as these fights are intended to keep the difficulty as alive as possible, potency and action changes notwithstanding.

Not true. Challenge is the main point of the Ultimate raids, and as long as they are challenging they aren't irrelevant.
Making them unsyncable, now that would actually make them irrelevant - and thus should not happen.

This is not true in the case of Ultimate. As Rongway said, Ultimate was designed specifically for players seeking challenge and they were told that SE would do their best to ensure they always remained a challenge by always requiring them to be level-synced and ilvl-synced. Job changes are not designed to make Ultimate easier and only those who do them can say if job changes have accomplished that or if they are now effectively easier because there is a wealth of information about how to do the mechanics available online for later participants to study.

This is not WoW. As a former WoW player myself, I'm glad it isn't. While it's natural to judge the game by our experiences in WoW, don't make the mistake of thinking it's going to be exactly like WoW with the same motivations behind the content design.

I'm sorry you don't like the answers you are being given but they are nonetheless the truth. If you want those shiny weapons and Legend titles, you're going to have to join a party and progress them synced. Many players are continuing to do exactly that.

So you don't have ANY limit breaks accessible to you, and even if you did you wouldn't be able to use multiple different types.

i think it's about , ultimate raids weapons/titles , as you can see
people do old ultimate for the titles/weapons , at least most of the players who do it
so having it unsync will take away the difficulty part and will make this rewards a normal thing , and that is what SE don't want to be , and you can see that in the savage raids , you can solo o4s as a tank
let alone Ultimate raids is made for the sake of team work , if 1 person mess up in some part , it's a wipe.
