Dissidia's FFXIV character

For villains, either Darnus or Baelsar.

But the real question is who would the good guy be? Who best represents XIV?

I can think of one person who can! Who else but:

As much as I would love Hildebrand in a Dissidia game, it would most likely be Thancred.

Likely to be Cid.

But I don't see another Dissidia coming out for another 10+years.

He was my second pick! :D I had to choice between him and Yda.

No NPC in XIV has really reached a point where they're worthy of a cameo in Dissidia. Prishe and Shantotto earned those spots!

I agree with the Raubahn and Thancred suggestions. Either would be pretty bad-a characters to have around.

Though I do believe the Hildibrand would be a rather...amusing choice.

Cid, Legatus, Papalymo and Yda seem more fitting xD

Sorry, but none of the NPCs in the game really stand out yet as crowd favorites.

Besides Hildibrand.

I mean this isn't like Shantotto, where she had 5 years before Dissidia even came out to win the hearts of the masses.

And it's not like Prishe who was the main protagonist of an entire expansion.

We don't have either of those yet.

Also: There's really no one on the same level of Prishe and Shantotto in XIV, none of the story is that well done enough there's a character you know and had a large impact on things yet.

Both Dissidia games were released at the same time, for the same anniversary? I doubt it. It's a fanservice game for those who wanted to see a title with a whole mixture of FF characters. Not to mention it's probably my favorite fighting game out there.

If it makes money, and god only knows how awesome it could be on the Vita, they'll probably do it. Don't kid yourself lol.

They'd make 100x more money putting it on the PS3.

I just really want to see Thancred hit on anything female in the Dissidia cast.

And I don't know! Thinking about it, I totally think he'd be able to seduce her. She's egotistic after all. But saying that, Lehko Habhoka kind of failed hardcore at it.

EDIT: If we get Thancred, if another Dissidia comes out, I demand Tellah in from FF4 as well. Just for spoony bard hilarity at Than.

..on another note, wouldn't it be awesome if the "good" side was Bealsar? I think he's going to end up helping us hardcore in the oncoming storyline, if only to stop Darnus.

Hildebrand would work, but they'd have to give him teh treatment Naruhodo Ryuuichi/Phoenix Wright was given when he was put into Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Otherwise, yeah I see Thancred getting the spot. Which would make sense since he could be given unique gameplay from what our player characters can do.

Why support thancred there's something not quite right about him... I don't like him have a bad feeling about him and I want him dead... please please please not thancred and yes i've seen everything and know everything about him I still think there's something not quite right about him.

They already said they aren't making another Dissidia. They've already exhausted all options, creative ideas, and gameplay with the previous.
