I had to take a 6 month break from gaming due to work commitments. I've been back a month now, and every time i sign up for alliance raid it's one of the lvl 50 raids. I thought we were doing away with that? At least make it worth everyone's time by giving some type of extra award.

It did happen, But crystal tower is still common due to being the only ar required by msq. Also, tryhard cheesers can still get it by using a free trial account.

Ilvl cheese was fixed and you are looking at the result. If you thought so many CT runs were exactly because of Ilvl cheesing then you have only yourself to blame for your expectations.

It's a roulette. You get sent to whatever people need to do and you don't get to choose.
In alliance raids CTs have the highest demand due to it being required by MSQ and the lowest level so it's available for a broader base.
If you want to go to a high level raid, register them directly. -

What the Crystal Tower raids need is a stat rework for each boss and possibly a maximum item level in LotA and Syrcus. Min ilv are 50 and 70 while the sync is 135, which is way too much. -

I wish for older content like this - that people have cleared countless times - the devs added some other incentives/rewards for replaying this dungeon so much.
I do not think it would take much to just create a few mounts or glams using the same assets used in the ARR Raids, and then just creating a few new achievements like: Clear Dungeon 50 times, 100 times, etc. Obviously more could be done with it then just that, but at least it'd be a start.
Understandably... a lot of players might get mad that they've already completed these raids over a hundred times and got nothing out of it, but better late than never. -

I think it'd just be best to have a harder iLvl Sync for them. I'd ask for LotA to get a rework some of it since it originally had 2 tanks per Alliance and now its 1 per Alliance, but I'd imagine they'd butcher them up like the other content they have reworked.
