I'm sure the title is self explanatory.
So apparently the title isn't as well known as I thought, lol.
Okay so for context, every year as the holiday season, mostly Christmas, approaches, people joke about that specific Mariah Carey song, "Alls I want for Christmas is You", and how it over saturates the season. It's become a bit of a meme, that even Mariah Carey herself has gotten in on the joke. Well as it happens, FFXIV players love to get in on the jokes and XIV it up. The they create memes about Mariah Carey being some Starlight Primal that the WoL has to defeat before the end of the year. Similar to the picture below. They are quite amusing.

Fascinating, I didn't know that was a thing.
Over here that spot is held by Wham!'s Last Christmas, with some radio stations specifically advertising that they will not play the song because everyone is so sick of hearing it. -

It's in what feels like every other song pack on radio stations that ONLY play Christmas music. It's literally the 1# song at this time of the year here since it's release it is played or requested that much. Occasionally it gets used in adds. Don't get me wrong it is a very nice song, but it is oversaturated. I'd rather hear David Bowie and Bing Crosby's rendition of Drummer Boy more often than this song.Quote:
