Create an area to test skills and rotations different than training dummies

If you've ever played Lost Ark, you'll recognize what Trixion is; a training area where you can summon "scarecrow" enemies to practice different skills, tripods, rotations, and literally parse yourself with timers. In Trixion, you can reset CDs and fill your resource meter at the press of a button. It's different than training dummies in XIV since here you have to wait for some skills to come off CD to restart your rotation or try something different.

I've been away from this game for a while so unless I'm mistaken, a resource like this is not available in-game. There may be rotation managers online but I'm referring to an in-game area to test out skills, rotations, and while third party parsers are against TOS, an in-game parser wouldn't.

This is an example of a Trixion parse from Lost Ark. Notice the resources on the right side of the screen where you can reset CDs and fill resources.

You can do what your asking for by entering and leaving a duty to reset your abilities.
That said, being able to bypass that would be nice.

It's Stone, Sky, Sea.

And yes, it's basically a training dummy with a set time limit. It could be better. There's no damage meter in-game so we still have to use you know what, and once you finished whatever timer for the instance you basically have to immediately leave. You can't reset the dummy, you can't reset your CDs. It's really generic and I don't know why it exists.

In comparison there's nothing stopping you from testing yourself on a regular training dummy and entering/leaving a duty unsynced to reset CDs.

Not that any of this matters since you should be getting your timeline for combos from the balance discord anyways. There's really nothing to think about since all the smart people will have it figured out for you.

Not 100% honestly. I mainly use it for removing self destruct debuff for spawning s ranks.

IIRC, the time limit for the dummy expiration is simply the enrage timer of the boss; you can't manually adjust the timer, as in Trixion. I don't believe it's very efficient to enter a duty then leave (especially if you messed up in the beginning of the rotation) every time you want to reset CDs. Asking for an option to reset them with one button is simply a logical and reasonable ask. While I understand Balance is well-respected and many people go to them for game information, I don't think it's fair for their word to be the end all be all of the game. It removes the freedom people have to make their own rotations that they're comfortable with. Training dummies do have their uses but having the option to acquire max resources at the click of a button instead of building them up is another logical and reasonable ask. I don't see any reason they can't implement something like this in the game. They added an "Explorer Mode" to the game so people can just run around... The game is always coming out with content and there's no reason this can't be implemented as well.

Well, that's not how some people want to play the game... You might as well ask someone to log into the game for you and clear difficult content if that's the case. Why even think?

Just my opinion. You're welcome to take the time to figure out the most optimal rotations for yourself if you want.

Time is limited. I'm busy thinking about plenty of other stuff, and having someone else figure out my rotations and spread that knowledge does not do the rotations for me. I still have to log in and clear the content myself.

Even with someone else figuring out the rotation for you, it would still be a nice tool to practice said rotation.
Engrave it in your muscle memory so you literally don't have to think about it in encounters.

More tools to improve being included in the game are always a plus

+1 for a way to reset/fill gauges and CDs in a training area of some sorts
