quality of life iimprovements

What kind of quality of life improvements would you like to see

mine I would like
1) add a button to the duty log to be able to pop things like POD and eureka from anywhere..
2) make it so you can move your base camp in island sanctuary, I want mine on the beach. whats the point of having your own island if you cant have a house on the beach

QoL idea that probably most people already thought about.

1) Bubble over your character when you speak. With option to deactivate it if you don't want it.

2) Change the color name of FC member's to distinguish them from anyone else (Just like when you have one person inside your friend list.). Some people don't put every member of their FC inside the friendlist, and friends aren't always inside the same FC.

3) Allow to put note on people that are blacklisted (So we can actually remember why they are Blacklisted after a longtime)

putting all these posts into one thread instead of multiple mini posts that go nowhere and fizzle out.

That would be good for friends too. Half my friends always change into a lalafell with a lalafell name so that I can't remember who they are, when my memory is often good enough to remember them from years ago otherwise. The group system helps me put them into a category of how I met them but it's not as specific as note would be.

Glamour Log, where you can look and try out all available gear pieces for your class and where to find it. Just like in WoW

Chat bubbles would be a great idea, even if it's just for duties. More often than not I'm not sure who's speaking.

how about this:
- chat bubbles for Say, Free Company, Linkshell/CWLS and Tell chat can be turned off
- chat bubbles for Party and Alliance are forced to be on
- chat bubbles for Novice Network can only be turned off by leaving Novice Network

Agree with chat bubbles, not just from a roleplaying perspective, but it's useful to catch people's messages mid-fight without having to take your eyes off the middle of the screen. Option to turn it off if people don't like it. Added option to choose which channels have a chat bubble.

My biggest QoL wants are three.

1) Materia melding UI revamp. Give us something that sorts materia and stats information better, and let that melding animation be optional because it's truly annoying to see it when you're pentamelding.

2) Simple portait system QoL: the option to use the Adventurer Plate portrait as the default one. I could live very well just with one general portrait.

3) Built-in mouseover functionality for friendly actions. This would be big for healers, especially AST, who have to target swap so much.

Having level sync not remove tank stance.
