Dear ff14 stuff,
Everyone loves axol so much why put it in savage. We ff14 players want axol mount put in ff14 store. It would be super cute for Everyone. Please release to ff14 store and put shadow wolf in ff14 store. People want that cute little thing. All ff14 players love it Please tak this suggestion

How about we put none in the store and we put them in the game instead ?

I know it's a crazy new design for square enix and FFXIV players, but yeah, that'd be good !

Gtfo with that kind of thinking. Everything should go in the store. EX mounts are too hard, but them in the store so everyone can get them. Ultimate weapons too. And titles, you should be able to buy titles.

Cash shops are ethically and morally wrong.
And supporting them does not support the game or their developers in any single way.

Is just a market predatory practice on neurodivergent people.

Cash shop needs to go away and their rewards put in proper ingame content.

I'm sad it's locked behind a Savage raid that I'll never do, but I also wouldn't buy it if it went on the store either because I don't like to support that kind of practice in a game I already have to buy AND subscribe to.

That was hilarious, but I have to admit when I first saw the axolotl, I assumed it would be something we could get by ranking up Island Sanctuary or something. Feels a little weird to see the cute mount as a raid drop. Don't they usually get like a fire-breathing skeletal horse, or two-headed cyborg bat that barfs acid, or a solid gold dragon whose shadow portrays swirling galaxies? Isn't that the unwritten MMORPG rule? :p

Dear OP, once they put stuff in the cash shop they don't ever do anything to them again, outside of the scythe weapon glams.

Just look at the FFXIII thm/cnj ONE HANDED weapons. That can never be glamoured past level 50. Yet they still sell them for a few dollars EACH.

Why would we get the shadow wolf in the current savage tier? That's from a tier from last expansion. Realistically it would have been put behind blue mage if they actually wanted people to play the game for rewards. So the axolotl would still be locked behind the current tier even if they shifted where you got the shadow wolf.

Is a time-travelling giant axolotl not cool enough for you? :P

As for never doing the raid, just give it another expansion or two and we can brute-force it.

(At whatever point they stop making expansions and go into maintenance mode, they're really going to need to release a few extra expansions' worth of increased-stat gear so us terrible casuals can do the final set of raids.)

I haven't done P12S yet but I have been running an FC pseudo-static through older Endwalker tiers and they are already much easier than when they were current. I think the fights might be much easier already come Dawntrail if you don't mind spending a little time on learning them.
