Not having search function on titles is so dumb.
Surprised there's no favourites option for titles. Looking in game I've collected 306 titles, and I know for a fact that many people have way more than I do.
Great ideas. It's also silly that one of the few preset title orderings (and the default) is 'the order of patches in which they were added to the game', which doesn't really make a whole lot of sense unless you've been playing actively for the past decade.
Yes please a QoL update for titles would be nice.
But at least there is a text command you can use until then. You can write macros to make your own favorites list or combine them with text commands for changing your gearset. Or just use it because typing is faster than searching through the list.
Code:/title set "name of title"
I worked too hard for mine. It's never being changed.
Love this idea and would be a great QoL.
A favorites setting would be nice, at the very least. I only use like four titles anyway, let me find them faster.
I wish we could link a lot more to gear sets. Imagine how cool it’d be if you could assign different hairstyles and makeup to different gear sets!
A macro would do it. Here are two examples
/macroicon 1 gearset ;where 1 is the slot in your gearset list of the job you want - this is so you get the icon for the job
/gearset change 1 ;where 1 is the slot in the gearset list
/title set TitleGoesHere
If you want to do it with a glamour plate, do this:
/macroicon 1 gearset ;where 1 is the slot in your gearset list of the job you want - this is so you get the icon for the job
/gearset change 1 10 ; where 1 is the gearset slot and 10 (in this example) is the glamour plate number
/title set "TitleGoesHere"
In both cases, just drop it on your hotbar and use it like you would the normal gearset icon.
It already exists, but it requires you to break ToS to do it.
Honestly, if SQEX hired like the top 3 modders for this game, and have them work on their mods be allowed into the vanilla game, the quality of life changes alone would be night and day.
It's kinda sad people in their free time can do more for the game than the actual devs who are paid to run it
