Is there any way to report this, or reduce it? I didn't mind that much when it was a few JADEs but now we have 20 weeaboo police, weebfbi, lotus, fated...all with nothing to do but clutter up Limsa?

They probably think this is the greatest joke of all time.
oh no players in your videogame, what will you do ?
go to your house if you cant handle people around you
first yall cry about multiowners because they "take your houses" (while there's thousands of houses available on dynamis and new EU worlds)
and now yall cry because theres players in your MMO
just play a singleplayer game already
I usually am at my house. Just would like to enjoy other popular/social spaces without this ugly, useless clutter. It would 100% be different if these people had a purpose other than to purposefully be an annoyance. This has nothing to do with wanting to play alone because you're right, I just wouldn't play this lmao.
Every time someone does this, you encourage them. The only way they're going anywhere is if you ignore them.
Which we know the people here will never do. Limsa is the insane asylum on every server anyway. Not like that's unexpected.
So the Lalawall STILL exists? They are nothing if not dedicated to the bit.
oh my god babes thats awful nobody should have to put up with other players in an mmorpg sending thoughts and prayers x
They aren't doing anything wrong so there's nothing to report.
If you don't like it, there are several other cities you can choose for marketboard access, summoning bells, retainer vocates, etc.
Personally, I just ignore and run through them if I'm one of my cross data center shopping sprees. They don't bother me.
Let ppl have their fun, it's not like they harm anyone..
...cake?
Not really anything to report if they aren't breaking any rules, which I don't THINK that they are.
Reduce? Yes - these people crave attention. Giving them attention empowers them. As hard as it may be, the best solution is to just ignore them. If they get ignored enough, they stop doing it. As Predatory said:
Personally, Gridania is my city. It's not THAT inconvenient, the walk from the Aetherite to the GC center or from the Letherworker aetherite to the Market aren't that far, and you can get directly to the inn by teleporting to the Airship dock. And if you take the airship to Gridania from Limsa, Ul'dah, Ishgard, Golden Saucer, or Radz, it lands you right there (I do wish there was an aetherite there to travel back, but whatever...)
Plus it's generally quieter and more peaceful anyway. I'd say just move to Gridaina or Ul'dah and ignore the crazies in Limsa. That's honestly the best solution, imo.
Imagen owning a house and not being in it frequently.
Memes aside, and bait thread aside, people are gonna be people no matter what you do and where you go.
if they're silent and just standing there 24/7 doing absolutely nothing, who cares? there's always other places in the city state to hang out in, or yes just be in your FC/personal house/apt, or god forbid somewhere else than limsa. ewwww
There probably nothing that can be done since there not really doing anything to harass anyone. When i visit famfrit to check market board i just walk past them then go back to leviathan and forget about them. Every server has that one person or a group of people that become staples that you see afk all the time. Leviathan has a dancing catboy near the limsa market board that's been there since arr and provides a sense of familiarity and something funny for the community to create some type of server folklore of these people.
The Jadettes and every other one of those accounts represent hundreds of dollars in revenue for SE. They never say anything, they just stand there, so they will probably never be banned.
They are, in fact, manually controlled. I once had the Lalafells appear one at a time around my own Lala on Lamia, because she was a 1.0 character doing the hulu and they started dancing around here. Spontaneous, and very cute.
Isn't there a keybind that you can press to hide all rendered players.... maybe use it if can't stand the sight.
I do sometimes wonder where the Jades went.
But yeah, multi-boxing isn't against the rules.
Are any of them standing on top of the retainer bell? No. Carry on then. People afking in large groups is a non issue. People afking on top of the bell should be zapped away to lava somewhere.
They were on Famfrit over the weekend when I went on one of my shopping trips.
Of course, the Weeaboo Police were very politely standing on top of them so you could only see their feet and the carbuncle ears sticking out of the Roegadyn backs.
Why? More fun to interact with the Summoning Bell despite their attempt to interfere.
A mouse click is not the only way to target something. Next time someone is standing on top of an object or NPC you want to interact with (or even if they're not but you want to test it), hit 0 (zero) on your number keypad as long as you didn't rebind it to another function.
Meh... multiboxers have fallen in quality over the years. I ran 3 subs at the same time in FFXI and would make a party with all 3 characters to multibox content I couldn't solo with just 1 character... (yes this did in fact annoy some HNM and Endgame Linkshells) >.>
Forget multi-boxing. That's old hat. Multi-Thai Boxing is where it's at!
Look in between the last two rows of Roes on OPs pic.
I don’t mind them. I think this type of multi boxing is stupid and pointless but it doesn’t bother me at all. I even prefer them to cacophonous bards that make my ears bleed. When I go to Limsa on a server other than mine, I run straight for the MB and then immediately travel back to my server after I’ve bought what I needed. On my server, I FT directly to Hawker’s Alley to check my retainers and the MB (it’s calm plus there’s an FC chest)
As long as they arnt harassing anyone or griefing the MB/bell, who cares?
To be fair, it's just some bored troll hoping to get a rise out of people. Best to ignore it and go on with ya day. Not like you can't simply walk thru them
I was on Famfrit for a long time. I miss the Jades they helped give the place personality and uniqueness.
One time I was in the mists and accidentally went in the wrong house and there was a huge group of Jades, all alone and seemingly AFK circling this weird bonfire. It was like I stumbled into a cult meeting or where the jades are stored in their offtime. Never will forget.
That reminds me of the time I saw a dead and naked Urianger in an apartment. I imagine it was the killers apartment because there was huge portrait pictures of Urianger everywhere.
I think he was dead. He didn't react at all when I waltzed in but the...I think it was a catgirl...she shooed me out and tried to bribe me to pretend I didn't witness anything.
If only there's a TOOL™ that completely hides toons you don't like from your screen.
LOL!
Thats just a normal part of Limsa, being annoying as possible to the typical passing through player.
I would be in heaven if they where all lady roegs ♥
So what do they do, just stand in formation? I never see anything like this on Exodus. But then, I only go to Limsa for market board, retainers, and world changes. (with chat in battle mode, so I don't see RMT spam).
OH NO, MY AFK SPOT IS RUINED BY LVL1 PLAYERS AND MY SOCIAL INSECURITIES ON VIDEO GAME BOILING ME, PLEASE SEND HELP!!!
As near as I can tell some of them are retaliation for the others. That said, while I understand your frustration, SE most definitely won't be able to hear you over the sound of the cash they're rifling their fingers through every month for those several dozen vanity accounts. And at any rate, there's nothing strictly saying it's even multiboxing. Anyone with the kind of money to be able to support that sort of thing probably has enough to buy multiple toasters that can run the game enough to put a character in place and idle, or use virtualization services.
