Why Limit Levequests?

I understand how the semi-daily allotment system works but why limit the amount of levequests we can do at all? There are still 'blind-spots' while leveling where I end up out of any kind of quest to do and have to grind.

It may seem like they are limited now but miss a day and suddenly you will find yourself with more leves than you can ever use. They're intended to be a casual/low playtime style of content currently that will allow people who cannot play for very long make significant progress.

2.0 is supposed to be adding a good deal of quest/dungeon type content for multiple levels so there should be more avenues for XP in the future.

Thank you. It occurred to me that the limit may not be game play based but memory based for the servers. You are right they do add up fast. My goal is to hit 30 and get the Gobbdue mount before it isn't available and I hope I have enough time to achieve it.

Could always just have a friend PL you!

I don't have any friends that play. I'm not sure how to meet new people in this game.

Hi Wakwazu and welcome to the game! Meeting new people can seem like a challenge indeed but don't fret just walk up to people and give a /wave and say Hi! I'm new, nice to meet you! If they choose to engage in a friendly conversation with you then you quite possibly have a new friend to do content with, if they don't reply then they're either afk, don't speak your language, or they're a goomba.

I'm in the same boat. Trying to get LNC to 30 asap, but I'm finding it a struggle to even get PGL to level 15 today before I start my LNC because of the blasted Levequest limit.

I don't understand why they would limit them. They are basically grindquests with little to no story relevance, the likes of which I have only seen limited before on free-to-play browser RPGs. It's insane.

Yeah, but you've also saved up a few and aren't a new player. It's kind of annoying for a new player to be told "lol just don't play for half a week" when they've just bought the game and are looking forwards to playing.

sure but it kinda go together, often you will need anima to get to your levequest place, especially when you start and have no chocobo... leavequest and anima should really have the same regen rate

I'd grind them both up for a few levels if they just were on my servers. :<

grinding the lower levels isn't bad. you should be able to hit 30 in about 2 days, 3 at the most. 1-15 should be a couple hours.

You're on Sargatanas like me, I'd recomend joining a linkshell. the newer, the better as they are typically more newb friendly. I think I saw stronghold recruiting on the forum for our server, and i saw the LS leader shouting the other day. maybe give them a shot. can always toss the pearl later.
