The WoL and the gang are taking a trip to Eorzean Mexico it seems. Lots of Aztecan-inspired architecture, themes, etc.

Well, Alphinaud and Alisae aren't old, are they? They are quite young.

Would have liked a newer cast, or more spotlight on the lesser known Scions, but I'm fine with this. Still lots of stories and arcs these characters can have.

They really should get a growth spurt soon. I hope more in-game time passes between this expansion and the last, still boggles my mind how little time has apprently passed...

More Alisaie means more sus camera angles in trailers and cutscenes. Please look forward to it.

I've been out of the loop for a while. But I though the Scions were going away and we were getting new companions for the next expansion? That's not the case?

That's only because they refuse to progress time for them.

Am I the only one who legitimately likes the twins? I love their dynamic. Even though I slightly prefer Alisae.

Only half the team is shown in the new world, the other half will probably be in the other direction we can go at the start. I'm still expecting Mericydia and with two directions to go, that leaves room for new faces to join us.

As if anyone couldn't see them bringing Scions back from a mile away. Should have given up faith with 6.xx patches that you would be rid of them. Enjoy more of your burger eating fan service.

You can't bring them back if they never left.

They left briefly at the end of 6.0, so yes, they did come back. Immiediately.

I love them. The only sketchy one in that family is Ameliance who asked me to put her in sexy clothes while her children were freezing in Garlemald and her husband was at work lol

What's up with the current obsession with forcing players to do Hildebrand quests? I never touched them before now and I could have done without them entirely. Not that they are the worst thing ever, just not what I am looking for in XIV.

Yeeeah i don't mind alisaie or alphinaud but please get y'shtola off the msq , as well as thancred and maaybe urianger... and g'raha is for now at least not completely insufferable for me

I like them too, but we've been hanging out with them for so long that I was expecting/hoping for them to sit this one out. That applies to most of the other Scions, tbh. Let us meet them later down the line so their presence becomes a pleasant surprise instead of "oh Thancred's here too" (looking at you, patch 6.4)

Whatever happened to "Krile will take a more central role"? mfs didn't even let her on the boat! I'm firmly in the "the Scions should have taken a step to the side several patches ago" so EH...

(I know there are 2 teases left) I hope HOPE there's some kind of sneaky twist somewhere in there.

Hope it never happen, Krile is the most boring character of the entire game, everything with her is a BOOOREE.

Feel like I've seen these complaint at least 50 times before. I could be wrong though

That's fair. Personally speaking I enjoyed doing the Hildebrand quests much more then the Return to Ivalice ones haha.
