Pretty disappointed that it's the Scions yet again, but it is what it is.
Battle systems changes (or lack thereof) will determine if I take this game seriously or I treat this as a VRChat/Gmod sandbox for 4 more years.

The plot will supposedly be a contest for succession of the crown for the land of Tural (the New World) that we and the Scions have been drawn into.

I really REALLY hope this presents actual choice in the MSQ. Like a Path A or a Path B. Gives more incentive to redo the MSQ just to see what the other path is.
Hopefully also leads into a different side of the MSQ and ending all throughout the expansion, but I recognize that's close to impossible for FF14.

I'm excited that we're going to America as it's going to be a different environment than we're used to. Hopefully Zero will stay with us during the journey.

Looks like they're hinting at another melee dps since WoL is using a shortsword, considering the WoL's clothing under his cloak, maybe Corsair? Sky Pirate? Probably to share Scouting gear.

That cloak and the fact the WoL only used a sword without a shield in the trailer, it made me think of Tactic's Swordsaint. (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Wow new stuff we already knew was coming!

I am disappointed to see the scions yet again, there just isn't anything more we could possibly learn about them and to be dragging them along on this new adventure seems more like it's just going to drag the story rather then get us to reinvest in it. Also how long in do you think Y'shtola is going to wait to "die" this time?
