Ya I'm hoping they at least give him some formal departure from SE rather then the blindsided way they went with Vanafest. It was literally mentioned in the last 5 mins of the stream lol.

I do hope the best for him. Even though FFXIV happened, he still did more good than anything. I play Xenogears and Chrono Cross so much, only a genius could produce a work of art like that.

As much as we dislike him for what he did to Final Fantasy XIV, it's sad to see him go under such conditions. Get well soon, Tanaka, and thanks for making Final Fantasy XI the game we all loved!
