I converted 6 of my dupe Ifrit weapons and didn't get anything past tier III regular materia.

So i mean, if they only turn into the same materia that other stuff does, what's the point of even trying?

I made a thread and got no response. The drop rate for these weapons are stupid rare to begin with... why not give them 6549684% chance to turn into the rare teir III and IV materia?

My sample size is super low, but I've converted 5 primal weapons and each one has been really rare and expensive.

We must have been lucky because I did too. I converted 2 Ifrits Blades, 2 Ifrits Cudgels and 2 Mog Blades from what I can recall. Out of those, the good materia I can remember getting was 2 Fire IV materia which sell nicely and a couple of the new Swiftwall IV which also sell quite nicely.
