Beastcoins and relics

I know there has been some info on beastcoins being one of the steps in getting relics. My question is, do we know which brand of coin is required for each relic so we can start gathering which type we need? Thanks to everyone providing info.

War - ?
Drg - Ixali
Mnk - ?
Brd - ?
Whm - kobold
Blm - kobold

Whm- kobold coin / PLd - Amaljaa coin

looking like it is based where you did your AF quests, so im assuming MNK, WAR, and BLM are Amaljaa, I never did do BRD so not sure on that

Just went 7/7 on ifrit and I think I have like 150 of the lowest tier Coins. Never thought I would have to farm zaharak again...

I'm kinda glad I don't have to "farm" em, paid to save off, even though Zanarak's I think was glitched or something on drop rate of the rare ones.

Lol wut? I was saying after farming all my tapers for ifrit I had 150 coins.

Amal'joks aren't that bad. Coordinate with another person of your coin type and swap their Bronze for your Darksteel (or whatever). The drop rate for me ended up being around 10 bronze to 1 darksteel anyway, so it works out nicely. PLD and MNK seem to be unpopular on my server I guess so that helps too.

Any news on War, Mnk or Brd coins?

BRD NM fight is Natalan so we're going out on a limb and thinking it is that currency, just like most other job relics are following.

Just curious, but for those of you farming Amaljaa, how far into Zaharak are you going? I duo'd with a friend for a short time yesterday (maybe just 30 min or so) but all we got was a few bronze pieces. We tried every spot up until beginning of the the last section before the boss.

I didn't expect to get much in such a short time, but still feel I'm missing something. Perhaps we were just unlucky?

I would love a confirmation on the BLM coins. I was under the impression they needed Amaljaa since BLM is based out of Uldah. Anyone know with certainty? Thanks.

Why do the farming in the Stronghold? Would it be more beneficial/economical to do it in their lesser camps?

i would just like to ask, for the love of Menphina, please do not show up to a already running EXP party and use your warrior to claim and kill all of the mobs in the area for beastcoin farming and tell the EXP party to GTFO because there are "plenty of EXP locations"... this is getting old really fast.

Indeed, people should always make sure they do not interfere with other grind parties. It's common courtesy. :)

HAH! I knew not to toss my beastcoins! XD I remember their relevance in FFXI and was like "Nope! Not dropping/npcing these babies...I feel like they'll have a purpose later)

Sadly, common courtesy doesn't exist within this game's community, especially when it comes to members from a lot of the 'end-game linkshells" since they're more entitled to the areas for some reason.

Good luck with that, considering the few camps available to actually farm the coins.

I hear yus, I just transferred all my coins from a mule to my main the day before I heard about any of this, so quite glad I kept them all now. Sylphic Bronleafs and Gobcogs to boot!

Now we need a monster database to see in which caves, paths and canyons are beastmens.

I agree to some extent as long as people dont have double standard. If ppl are soloing there dont expect them to move. There are plenty of exp area but farming beastman spot is very limited

I can't think of a single instance where beastmen are a decent source of EXP. Maybe back in 1.18 when we had the Ixali Encampment, sure. Now there are various other ways of levelling. Biasts, wolves, dormice, etc.

That should be the least of anyone's worries.

Meh, Just last night I was farming Ixali coins only to have some rude ass warrior show up with a mule/PL lackey and try to take my farming spot over.

FF14fan's website updated their guide and it appears as if DRG and BRD are the only jobs that will be utilizing Ixali coins. Take that with a grain of salt though, since they didn't post any screen shots as proof, although it makes sense for those to both be from Ixali.
