People Selling Sex on PF

How are people allowed to have a PF for 6+ hours advertising RMT for IRL feet pictures? Yet you make a pf for the wrong category and within minutes you will be in GM jail.

Doesn't mean they should be selling feet pics at all. If people are going to get in trouble for stuff, the rules should be consistent for everyone.

Well, there is a difference between a sexual kink, and a non sexual kink. Not all kinks are sex, so if they are assuming a kink is sex on PF, then the OP is wrong. Though I do wish people were more discreet about things. I mean come on, don't ruin our lifestyles for the rest of us. We don't want them all on display for everyone to see on FFXIV. Roleplay should be private, and kept that way out of respect for adults, and keeping it away from minors that enjoy the game.

GM's only care if you say something mildly offensive, then you're absolutely going to get plastered with account warnings. Anything else overloads the bots brains, like forcing them to actually have to investigate if something violates TOS.

Think about this; You're not allowed to swear ingame. If you get reported for it, you get an account warning. IN A GAME WITH A MATURE LANGUAGE FILTER. Ridiculous over moderation of chat, under moderation of literally everything else. Actual predators roam free in the venue and RP scenes with relative impunity. Honestly it's a joke.

if you feel that strongly about it, report and move on. all you can really do.

Welcome to ffxiv, saying the wrong word or opening the wrong pf is a big no no, but doing any kind of RMT is almost encouraged because “we can’t keep up with it so we do nothing about it”.

It'd leave a bad taste in my mouth too. Doesn't matter if it's just a foot pic without any of the extra baggage (a joke), it probably shouldn't be in the PF, especially if other players are getting action taken against them for wrong category.

The degenerates you're describing are the main demographic for now so the rules won't apply to them, stronger yet the GMs probably subscribe to them as well on their own accounts. There is no other reasonable explanation on why this is so widely allowed.

Meanwhile people get a warning on their accounts for naming bots.

You THINK degens are the main demographic hence them getting to skirt rules based on...your opinion. Even deeper you feel GMs are part of said group, again based on solely your opinion. You say this is widely allowed but how widespread are these pfs really? I can personally say I see FAR more "normal" pfs than I do "degen" ones.

I don't think you understand what bias means. Multiple people are here saying how rampant it is yet here you are trying pretend it's a non-issue(this is actual bias). I have a theory, not a bias.

I just logged off the game and the last thing I read while clicking on quit was "1AM GMT SEXY VENUE ON [insert weird name and weird activities]", there is a shout like this each time I visit Limsa

For real though, if they were actually getting banned we wouldn't see them just like we don't see any bad behavior. But since they're so open about it and keep promoting it in the open I can't help but speculate.
