The little things that annoy me.

---In the Island Sanctuary, I keep getting the, "You cannot carry any more Island Stones", error message because I have them (and some other items) maxed at 999. How about adding an option to the Island Sanctuary Settings for disabling this error message?

---In the Island Sanctuary, how about letting us change the animal feed without having to dismiss the Caretaker?

---The same for the crop seeds.

---In the Duty Finder Settings, how about an option for auto-looting (automatically cast lot) whenever a chest has been opened?

---How about adding a feature that lets us drag the mouse over multiple items and move them to and from the Armory, Inventory, Chocobo Saddlebag, Doman Enclave's Donation Basket, etc. Just as we do in Windows 10 and 11. Or at least let us hold CTRL and select multiple items that way.

---And also, a way to remove your name from your crafted gear, items, food, etc.

For the IS materials...sell them to the NPC in the house. Just sell half of them, then you can keep getting them after that.

the thing that annoys me the most is getting the same dungeon/trial/raid every single day for roulettes, how many dungeons does this game have again? i want some variety in my roulettes (yes i know i can take off some of my gear to reduce my ilvl to avoid getting certain dungeons but i shouldnt have to)

The little things that annoy me are mostly Lalas.

Careful, some people might chastise you into thinking this is how roulettes are supposed to work, like they've never seen a roulette machine before.

Yup to backpack what Avatre said. After a while you'll be making a TON of materials from granaries/pastures. I just use the "Bulk Shipment" option for each category. I use an arbitrary number like 200, so that anything above 200 gets sold. So in your case if you set 500 bulk shipment on granary materials, then you'd be left with 500 island stones and selling 499 of them.

Everything else you posted is nice QOL.

A little weird thing I don't like is confirmation when I want to create a materia from a 100% spiritbound item. Why am I being asked to do something unharmful and positive? Almost like a warning :confused:

That's a relic of the materia system's original function - it was meant to be a gil sink in that creating a materia from a fully spiritbonded item then destroyed that item completely, replacing it with the materia (it was meant to be a way of taking expensive gear out of the economy, supposedly to try and stabilize the markets).

Eventually SE changed how converting materia worked (given that even unique/untradable gear could have materia extracted from it), in that extracting materia no longer destroyed the item but merely reset the item's spiritbond back to 1%, but the warning remains, probably to warn more about resetting the spiritbond. It's just a legacy of earlier times.

The first one is easily solved by going to the exporter and selling half your island stones.

Adding to this: When you report an RMT spammer,you keep seeing it's messages unless you blacklist them, and then force thir last message out of the window.

WoW improves on reporting by giving you an immediate reward: After reporting, the spammer's messages disappear for the rest of your login session. SE needs to copy this feature.

Currently, I just switch the chat window to battle mode, so I don't see (or report) spammers.

I want an option to mute the sounds of other people crafting nearby. Somehow they always seem to end up right where my camera is, so of course the game picks up on that over everything else.....

The game configuration menus, the sometimes haphazard organization of them, and a few default settings (such as battle effects defaults) that make it hard to see AOEs by default.

So much stuff is buried in these menus, and half the time I go to character settings (and dig through all the trees and subtrees) when I mean to go to game settings.

I love that we have a settings backup and so many options, but it's a jungle in there while you get things set up the first time or the first time the second time.

Solution: System Configuration, Sound, Voice. Slide to the left.

Too many confirmations. If I click something to open a door, I just made my intentions clear, so don't ask me if I want to open it.
There shouldn't be confirmation dialogs for actions that costs nothing and takes less than 10 seconds to undo.

Melding interface loses list positions after every meld.
You want to apply multiple pieces of materia to an item that;s down the list, and after each meld, both lists end up at the top, and you have to scroll down every time to find the gear item and materia.

This also gets in the way if you're using a controller, since the default option for every "yes/no" prompt in the game is a complete tossup.

The crafting log does this too with "hide completed items" enabled. They fixed this with the grand company turn-ins so there's still a chance it'll get looked at.

The little things that annoy me are:

- My impatience towards the granaries. I need to remember that the mammets are doing their best for me and they're not big like I am so what's hard for me, is twice as hard for them

- Those awkward social situations where I don't have the spoons to be too chatty so I'll either yoldance at the other person, headpat them, or dote at them before teleporting away. I promise it's not you, it's me and my autism in action. sorry ;w;

- The newest FC members who've decided to test the waters in regards to our rules and my patience towards them grows thinner by the day. service with a smile isn't always easy ...

- Miqote boys giving me death stares and being passive aggressive towards me whenever I'm at the beach trying to relax and fish. Is it the glam I wear just for the beach that sets them off? I'm sorry if me running around in my coeurl briefs upsets you but that's a you problem because hello??? it's a BEACH. People are allowed to wear bikini's and similar summer themed clothes there! So I'm gonna keep freeing the booba and show off my legs and butt whether they like it or not! Yes, it's always the miqo's doing this. What's their issue? I'd more amused than annoyed by this, honestly~
