I legitimately have never met a man who fanboys over G'raha Tia. Literally everyone I see who simps over G'raha Tia is a fangirl, who when you talk about him, will go "eeeeeeeeeee" "mmmmmmmmmmmmm" "he's soooooooo cuteee ungghh"

Having a constructive opninion for once might convince people youre anything more than a low effort contrarian btw.
I mean, how do you know they are girls? Have you spoke to them all? We men can fangirl just as well as women you know! So what if some people act like that about the character. It ain't harming you, so why care? Let people like what they like!
Oi fanboy, what do you have against fangirls?
The character was intriguing back in Shadowbringers but I've never once "shipped" him with my WoL or considered him romantically in the slightest. He looks like a child and then in Endwalker he behaved like one. I do not want characters like this anywhere near the games I play or stories I enjoy. I find him not only weird, but creepy.
I feel like the way the character has behaved recently has had a major negative impact on my enjoyment of the story. To say nothing of how his fans are often quick to shut down suggestions of adding more masculine characters to the cast in order to bring in some much needed variety.
It gets old after a while.
I only fangirl over Warhammer dwarfs.
Those long, thick, delicious beards.
Cos I watched a stream of MSQ and as soon as I entered it was a fangirl with her cam on going "eeeeee Graha Tia is so cute" when he saves Radz-At-Han from despair as NPCs are dying, the satrap just got eaten, and Palaka's Stand is on fire.
Needless to say, I shall now use this one single highly representative example to describe all G'raha Tia fans.
Also it was really high pitched and I got mentally scarred and needed to see a therapist for 20 years after witnessing that.
But there is nothing to say thats why Gra is how he is now. The writers could likely have still gone in that direction without the 'fangirls' and I do not think they are so easily swayed by a small minority of fans as you do. I personally still think it fits him, even if I do hope they move on with him in future content. I am sorry you dislike him so, but the subjectivity of fiction is always gonna risk that. Take heart in the fact some people do enjoy him, I say!
Well good luck with that, and good luck ever watching a JRPG stream again. Pro tip, simps exist in all forms and for all types of characters. I would very much probally squeeeel and pledge my soul if playing a game and a big muscle lady appeared. If that is somthing that sends you to therapy, then I would say send the bill but me poor so... good luck!
I do. I also simp over Aymeric, Raubahn, Meffrid - who was done a disservice by the way -, Merylwyb and Emet-Selch.
Why actual good topics that could have some decent discussion always end up butchered on the first line a post is always delivered
"Hey guys, being honest about it, what you think about the overall simping of Graha towards the WOL?"
Its because he's not only a catboy (arguably one of the poster child races of FFXIV) but also cute, is integrated into the main story and fanboys over the player character.
Its a perfect recipe for creating a simpable character to a good portion of the fandom.
I'm a simple person, I basically fall in love with <insert appropriate gender here> that is kind to me. Is it sad? Maybe? Do I want it to change? Not really.
Nice hat! (This will only make sense if I've logged off as my RDM lol)
I want to play!
1. Hien - a fierce and private romance but alas we were torn apart by duty
2. Kai Shirr - a steamy and public romance but alas he lives in the first
3. Y'shtola - an unrequitted love thanks to Runar, who I cannot bring myself to kill. My minion of him taunts me as I gaze longingly at my painting in my house.
4. Ranaa Mihgo - Eozea's hot couple of the week, but is their love true or just for the performance?
5. My Retainers - I guess full marriage materials as they have nothing else to do but sit at my house.
Sorry I hardly can stand him and wouldn't want to be around him much. I only like antihero types of characters.
G'raha felt like more of a bad ass in SHB, surviving the WoL's death, the eigth umbral calamity, going back in time to another reflection, saving that reflection, thus saving us from death. Truly a legend, and then Endwalker comes out and he behaves like a teenager. Where was that mature leader we left behind in SHB who had been through so much? Do we have to reduce all of our characters to to be appealing to babbling teenage fangirls? No matter how many burger cutscenes they shove in our face, or how many "shiny eye" emotes they throw into cutscenes they've written him in such a way that I find him completely and utterly insufferable.
Though in general I hope we stray away from the scions in 7.0. We've had enough journeys with them, its time to start a new journey, with fresh new company. Not just specifically because of G'raha. I'm tired of the existential crises, and fighting with literal gods. Whatever happened to just being another adventurer?
Shout out to the contrabass G'raha Tia simps who can't be heard.
Buffy gifs!? LET'S GOOOOO!

Don’t worry about what other people enjoy.
I don't simp for G'raha, but I do love the fact that he got a second chance to live out his dreams of going on adventures with us, the Warrior of Light. Plus he is best boi for acting like a dork around all the historical figures he only got to read about in his timeline. :3
is it possible to reverse simp someone? Can I reverse simp the OP
